Is there a way to get perfect pelts anyhow?

Use dead eye and repeater or scoped rife with express rounds for bigger animals. Varmit rifle for small animals also when you aim at an animal is name and stars show up. Has tohave 3 stars to get perfect pelt and i always go for a head shot

I don't know if perfect pelts are possible (never had one) because it can take up to 5 shots to bring down animals on stranger hunt missions.  I always aim for the head at a close range on horseback. Whether it's a bull gator, large wolf or grizzily bear.  I use bolt action or lancaster repeater.

Trying to get a perfect pelt for on the hunt missions is pointless. You can't  sell the pelt. It disappears after you bring it to its destination. You won't get any more money delivering a perfect pelt/carcass. Because of this, I dispatch the animal as quickly as possible, usually with explosive shotgun slugs.

easy way for perfect pelt , use poison arrow with bow , 1 shot , wait he die from poison
