Red dead redemption 2 does not finish installing

My red dead 2 stops installing on the second disk (game disk).  And does not finish installing the game appears +99 hours to finish installing more does not install.  what I do?

Clean your game disk. I had to hit mine with a drop or 2 of washing up liquid (aka dish soap) and water.

If you do clean it, be sure to go in a circular motion!

I am not sure if this would be down to a dirty disc or not though. Sometimes memory can be tricky and something in your memory could be stopping it from completion.

my disk was greasy, which is why it kept failing to install. the washing up liquid got rid of that grease, and that was the end of my installation problems.

When my disk got greasy, I would rub it off with a soft sock on my hand. (Warm socks, right out of the dryer were the best.)

The exact same thing happened to me. Tried three times to install it and all three times I got the message that it would be another 99 hours. Turned out it was my hard drive. I bought an external hard drive for $60 at Best Buy and it installed in 90 minutes.  I've been playing with it for over a year now and there has been no problems.  I was quite devastated as I came straight home after picking up the disc at the release party at GameStop LOL
