infinite load screen

when we get stuck on an infinite load screen is there any shortcut key to cancel it and return to the menu?

i never found out a way to get out of it. i always end up using alt+F4.

any ideas?

Not that I know of. I think same was the case for console. You are just stuck in an infinite void of black.

If I spot something, I will be sure to let you know though brother.

on PC it's weird, because when i use alt+F4 it doesn't close immediately, the game knows that i want to leave the infinite load and give me 2 options: quit or continue with the infinite load. it's crazy to imagine that no one on rockstart remembered to include an option to go to the menu.

IIRC that's because alt+F4 is a windows command, and you are being given Windows options (through task manager) to quit the program or let it continue, rather than in-game options.  So no option to go back to game menu, because Windows wants to close the program entirely.

There isn't an option. You either have to wait and see if it works or just manually close the game and try again. I sometimes have to wait 5 to 10 minutes on a load screen for going online but it does eventually work.
