new train track

When i started playing, there were 2 dead-end train tracks, one from a junction near emerald station, the other split off from the track from saint denis to annesburg. Some time ago i rode around that hill, thinking they could connect the 2 ends. By now that connection is finished (with a little help from me), but i haven't seen any trains on the new track. Will there be trains using that track?

No, no trains ever use that track. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it just serves to progress the story behind the work crew there being told.

I was thinking the same thing as Parzival. There are some things in the game that are like this but it helps tell the story and paint a picture of time passing.
