Camp item requests

I don't think there is a way, but IIRC only one camp request is needed for the trophy and none of them are needed for 100% completion.

AFAIK, the only one with a reward that actually persists throughout the game is Pearson requesting a rabbit pelt to make Arthur a jacket (one of several I've never been able to trigger . . . maybe because I just spend too much time away from camp?). The rest just net you things like food, medical supplies, and ammunition.

i have another issue: i have the compass for pearson (from the braithwaites' boat house), but he never asked for it. and i think i also have something for mary beth (a pen?), but again, she never asked.

I don't know about Pearson, but Mary-Beth's pen request can sometimes be triggered by reading her notebook found at the back of one of the wagons where the women hang out, wash clothes, etc.

i hope youre talking about chapter 4, because if that only works in chapter 2 or 3, i'm screwed, and she'll never get her pen.

I honestly don't remember which chapter I was in last time I completed this request.

you cannot just wqit for them to ask you for these camp request items, (except in rare instances like Bill asking for some hair pommade) So, when the table is open for poker is when you'll get Pearson to ask for his compass.  (usually in the morning, before the stew is prepared)  especially if there are no people at the table, and the poker is open to play, he'll join the game and ask.  for Mary Beth's Pen, you have to catch her by her wagon WRITING in her book!  just go up and greet her and she'll say she wants a pen.  btw, the pen Jimmy Brook gives you at the start of Chapter 2 is NOT the pen she wants, she needs a FOUNTAIN PEN. It is found in the cabin at Osman Grove just southeast of Emerald Station.  One of the hardest requests to trigger is Pearson asking for a rabbit.  This will happen sometime around 10am.  Be sure that the Social Call mission is completed so that Kieran is NOT tied to the tree.  And, don't listen to people telling you to damage your health core.  this is a matter of simple timing.  save your game manually just before 10:am.  watch Pearson's habit: he'll go from the donation table, chopping meat for the stew then to the stew pot chopping veggies into the pot.  Now, leave camp just far enough that you are completely OUT of camp.  then ride fast back... you have to time it so that when you return, Pearson is behind the table where he'll be chopping veggies, only now he'll be drinking a beer  (not the whiskey bottle he also keeps there)  go straight to pearson as fast as you can walk and greet him, the conversation will change quickly and Pearson will make the request, after you've given the rabbit, (Not just the pelt) you will have a denim scout jacket added to your wardrobe! That is really all that is to Pearson's requests!  There are FIVE requests needed to be filled in order to get the errand boy achievement,
