I Cannot Get My Gun

Hello

 

I have been running around the forest like a Savage in rdr2 knifing deer and rabbits for like 12 hours.

 

i cannot figure out how to get my guns back. 
 

I bought a second gun, I have tons of ammo, no guns. 
 

it says to get my guns I need a horse / I bought a fricken horse 

 

it doesn’t have a saddle 

 

How do I get my gun?

 

I have been living as a savage for like 12 hours now.  Out in the wild just running down animals with my knife.

 

 

i tamed a horse.  It has no guns.  Now I lost it entirely.

 

 

i stole an entire wagon / no guns. 

 

It says I own 2 guns and have 200 rounds of repeater ammo

 

 

please -   My experience in the west has been poverty and savage living in the wild with my knife 

 

while maybe realistic, it is hard to run down and knife a deer 

 

I could really use my gun in this game. 
 

 

 

then maybe I can stop being a savage

If you want to access your weapons, you have to press LB/L1 next to your horse and select if you want your right or left side arm. For rifles, go to your horse and hold the LB/L1 button. If you are on your horse, you can go through all your weapons using the LT/L2 or RT/R2 buttons.

How do I get my horse buddy?  That must be my problem.

So you have a horse but can't access it?? 

 

Did you add a saddle to the horse? This makes it your primary horse. Other wise you need to use a lasso and take it to a stable. 

There is also a glitch/bug that happens where people's horses randomly disappear. Not sure if this was fixed or not but it could have happened. Try taming another horse and putting a saddle on it.

If you tamed a horse and can't get to it, you likely lost it and will have to tame another. You need to either stick a saddle on it or use a lasso and take it to a stable or you won't be able to "keep" it. It will just be randomly wandering around.

I lost a number of horses early on cause I didn't saddle them. I lost one and ended up finding him randomly days later and was able to mount him too which confirmed it was the one I tamed lol If you don't tame and saddle them, the guns and stuff don't equip properly.

A few people responded above that talk about this. I am guessing you didn't put it in a stable or saddle it. There is likely a good chance your horse is lost/missing and you probably won't be able to get it back. Just tame a new one and make sure you use a saddle.
