Hi Y'all, YodaMan 3D here. I play on Xbox and been gaming longer then most have been alive. I loved RDR and it is and was my favorite game of all time. When I 1st heard about it, I remember telling a friend, that it would never make it. No one would ever play it. Well he got it and when I was over at his place, he loaded it up tossed the controller to me. On my way home I stopped, bought my Xbox and RDR, started playing that night. Been on forums for years and been chasing rumors ever since waiting for the sequel. Here I am.

Battling an addiction, especially a physically and mentally addictive substance is a battle. As @BropolloCreed79 said, he has to want to do it. No one else can change him. If he hasn't hit rock bottom and doesn't realize the damage he is doing to himself and others, he won't find a reason to change. Even then, one can manipulate situations in their minds that it is the fault of others and not their addiction. Best thing to do is see for you is decide if the value of the friendship is worth it and protect yourself. If Bob is an awesome person but struggling, do things to help keep his mind away from the alcohol. It takes at least 21 days to develop new habits and break old ones. Be supportive and do what you can. Avoid blaming or shaming him as it will lead to drinking for the emotional strain. Probably best to keep him active an avoid situations that bring it out.

It sounds like we're joking here but this is a real conversation with constructive suggestions. I particularly like the IV idea - maybe I could also get some kind of astronaut urination pipe device so I can urinate while at my desk. Anyway, the game will be launched in my timezone at 9pm on the 25th so it looks like I'll be pulling an all-nighter.

I'm planning on having my gf deliver me food and hand feed it to me, maybe even chewing it first so the act of eating in real life doesn't distract me too much from eating in RDR2.

That is THE BEST WAY to put it. I never understood why someone would take issue with something like that... How does some dude taking one in the A have any impact on anyone else's life? It just makes no sense to me... Then again, I also don't understand why someone would want to chop parts off... Call me ignorant, but couldn't you just tuck it between your legs and pretend? I have no issue with someone's personal choices (like above, it has no impact on my life), but that doesn't mean I get why someone would do it. Aren't we all supposed to be happy with who we are? Edit: Also, wtf is "Q" supposed to stand for?
