  1. Saw this article today. Not sure if this is only PC related but it's interesting. What do you all think? https://www.pcgamesn.com/red-dead-redemption-2/online-halloween-zombies?amp

  2. These zombies aren't the unused ones from last year. They are all wearing red and black and there's a crapload of them. There's also going to be a mini Outlaw Pass for Halloween...2 versions actually. 20 Levels, one for free that gives about 5 items and one for 15 GB that gives 20 items, including an awesome spooky moonshine bar decor and a really killer machete. Oh, and no gold recoup on this pass.

  3. So nothing came of those zombie-like NPCs players started seeing around this time last year?

  4. Are you talking about Larry referring to the M203 in the video? He was in service starting in the 80s. Anyhow, I wasn't trying to prove any point by it, just supplementing Parzival's discussion on the topic. I don't see it that way but ok. I just get the whole vibe of pre-MW CoD which I hated in the step back from the gunsmith-centric design, gameplay, reintroduction if Zombies, etc. MW was a departure from some of that which got me back into the game after many years. ....but that's just me.

  5. I know and I get that part of it. In fact, Cold War take that into account with the "duct tape" additions. I just like MW's focus on the guns / gunsmith. CW seems like a step back from that. btw, here's a video of Larry Vickers showing off a replica of the CAR15 carried back in those days. You can see the early origins of accessories they manufacture today from some of these "field' modifications and adopted, non-standard components.

  6. In all fairness, the level of firearms modularity we enjoy today didn't start to become a thing until the GWOT spurred it in the early and mid-2000s. Up until then, a scope of some kind on the carry handle, a flashlight taped to the handguard, and a suppressor on your muzzle was pretty much the extent of "tacticool."

  7. Meh.... Played it last night and reminded me of why I stopped playing CoD. I don't like the reintroduction of classes and less focus on the gunsmith. They also didn't have a hardcore mode we could find in the demo so that just made it worse for us. I liked what they did in MW and it seems to me like Cold War is reverting back to the old CoD flavor. I hope IW stays the course with what they started in MW.
