Imo its worth a second playthrough, I missed some quality Random encounters first time round (The Freaky Poisoners), quite a few things played differently depending my actions. I'm playing my 3rd time, but this time is a very naughty boy! Got bounties everywhere and bounty hunters appearing all the time. I alternate between online and story.

It does mean that you can see where everyone is congregated and avoid if necessary, like not going to the shops in Blackwater if there is a mass of people kicking up a storm. But I agree that they could be better used. Not sure how the game would play without any markers, it would be difficult to find other players (your posse) if tere were no markers. I'd like to see different colours depending on your honor level

Online uses the "Honor" system. There are some missions that you can only do if you're Dishonorable and there are perks for "Honorable" only. If your honor is low you can just visit that bloke or just skin some animals for a bit, that improves honor quite quickly, so you can be an evil sob, then skin animals and be a reformed character!

I didn't try last night, but don't think I get the "Rob" option in the tooltips. I'm on my 3rd playthrough now as loads I didn't do first two times. The game plays differently every time so definitely worth a second playthrough. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Hi. What's everyones thoughts on using Dead Eye in online mode? I don't bother on the whole, although I try to use it against NPC's as I think you get exp for it. But doe sit work against PvP? As it can't slow time I'm not sure of what it does? Hopefully, you all can enlighten me!

I did read it, if you pre-ordered the ultimate you should get $300. I think it may take a week or so as they are giving rewards to anyone who plays by 20th Dec. I got the bars but not yet $. I just checked and the $ will be available from Fri 21st Dec and should be in account when you next log on after Fri.

I'm a little disappointed in the clothing selection to be honest. Although I did go and get my hair dyed last night (cost me 1 gold!)

I bought the 25gb for £5. If I don't need them now I'll probably use them when I level up more. Its unlikely I'll buy more though, although I expect R* will introduce more weapons etc as time passes, they need people to buy them to pay for the game.

I made the colour-coded map markers to R*, I think it could work. At least you'd know who to avoid. Good tips though, thanks. I don't mind getting killed its not actually me after all, and isn't personal), just irritating being forced into a tit-for-tat feud when I'm trying to farm, or just hooning around. But horse killing sucks, shooting me from afar, or in the back etc is one thing..but don't mess with a man's horse..them's fighting words where I come from!!

Thanks Kormath & Goud. I tried again last night, I found the "wide" a bit random about which target it locked onto, which made hunting and clearing hideouts etc a bit annoying. Narrow seems to work best for me.

Not sure you can do the Bandit stuff, as the "Rob" options is no longer there. Its worth playing on as John though, there are lots of funny NPC interactions, plus its worth having a look around New Austin.

I like that intially I was able to pass another player and "Wave", maybe hook-up for a bit. However, now, after being blasted a few times, I am dubious of any player coming within range. I think its a shame if you have to shoot everyone just in case they might shoot you. I guess time will tell..it'd be nice to think the community will work against that happening.

I think the original question was about RDO. In story mode you need to do some to open the satchel crafting, then they improve pick-ups around camp. Upgrading Dutch's tent improves the contributions from the camp, but you're right. I don't think having a nice leather table top doesnt do a lot.

Hi all. I played through the story with the auto-aim, etc on "Normal". I read in a few posts in here that you can adjust the Auto-Aim so I had a go. The options seem to be Free-Aim, Narrow, Normal, or Wide. I get free-aim, but I tried to test Narrow and Wide and I couldn't really see a difference. Does anyone here know what the difference is, and is there an ideal set-up for story/online play (online really as the Story Mode is a bit too easy anyway.
