Sorry to break it to you, but the update dropped on 05/14/19, so you are on day 15 bud. I'm not 100% positive but I'm pretty sure the multiplier only applies to the daily challenges. I know there was a bonus for treasure chests. Is that still ongoing or was it just for the week after the update? Would have been nice if Rockstar had provided a timeframe for how long the bonus gold bar, per level up, will be ongoing... typical rockstar leaving everybody in the dark. On this, I am in agreement 1000%... pretty much my playing style since day 1... but I also throw 10 salmon, trout, small and largemouth bass into the mix, to keep the cash flowing , while delaying leveling... trying to maximize the cash intake per level

river lure works for me in rivers and lakes for medium and large sized fish... too busy killing gators, herons and pelicans when in the swamp to bother fishing... seems all animal spawns have been reinvigorated since the last update has been my observation

I recall reading about this awhile ago but have never noticed anything. Apparently, the stats of a weapon are supposed to increase the more you use them. Anybody have any info on this?

@lumper As previously stated, catching fish gains you "Health XP" towards your maximum health. I don't recall the exact amounts, as this was one of the 1st things I did when I started playing in November, but it's something along the lines of: +10 for small fish, +20 for medium fish and +30 for large fish. You will see an indicator on the right side of the screen, with the health icon and the amount of XP gained. If you are already at max health, then you will not see these indicators. In game, Press the Menu button and click on "Player", then click on the tab for your character, to access your character sub-menu... click either Health, Stamina or Dead Eye and go to "Progression"... It will tell you what activities you can do to increase your outer rings to their max level. Health: Fist fights, bow shots, FISHING and other physical strength related activities. Stamina: Performing strenuous activities such as sprinting or swimming. Dead Eye: Trick shots, hunting, crafting and other survivalist activities.

I believe @Rick is referring to the main menu startup options. The "Free Roam" option will spawn you in close proximity to where you last quit the game. The "Land of Opportunities" option will load you into free roam, but you will immediately be placed into an "On Call Quick Join" queue for a random story mission

they should have done something to reward people that grinded the beta... submitted complaints a la @Kean_1, as a side reward... a lot of things catered to the noob... and I still have nothing to spend my ton of gold on

looks like this will be my new moneymaker... played $25 buy in @ st denis... doubled my money in 3 hands... quit after half an hour with $75... players at my table were REALLY bad... going all in with nothing hands... be patient and go hard with premium hands
