So, I went into the mountains, near the Indian camp (where I was NOT warmly greeted by the apparently passive-aggressive natives), and found a trapper's campsite. I sat with him by the fire and talked a bit, then something apparently spooked him and he left within minutes. But he left behind some perfect pelts - which I was happy to take. Here's the frustrating part: It seems like every time - EVERY TIME - I get a good skin or kill, I end up getting ambushed by some gang and killed. Then, when I re-spawn, I'm $150 poorer and the kills/hides are gone. Such is life . . .

Okay, I know I'm opening myself up for ridicule here, but I've been playing the game since release and I STILL HAVE YET TO GET ONE #^@%ING "PERFECT" PELT!! I've spent a great deal of time with those blasted binoculars looking EVERYWHERE for a "Perfect" specimen - for academic purposes, let's say -- a deer - I FINALLY find one, I use the bow and arrow, I get the thing right in the head and it falls over dead. I triumphantly march over to get my kill, take it back to Pearson, select to "Donate," and-- It says "Donate GOOD Deer Pelt"!!!! ???!!!! HOW DID IT CHANGE?!?! Please tell me what in the blue hell I am doing wrong before I forcibly rip out what little hair I have remaining in this head of mine. Thanks in advance. Unless you don't know the answer. Do you really think they would do something like that intentionally and not expect lawsuits? Of course not. If it were intentional, legal recourse would be swift, and they're smart enough to know that. As was suggested before, try contacting customer support and see if they can help you before making angry decisions, like these jerky-jerkfaces are just trying to scam you out of your cashola.

You bring up a sore subject, Bro. I heart dynamite. But it really chaps my hide that I bought ALL the ammunition upgrades for my camp and STILL can't get dynamite there! You have to go to a stupid FENCE for the stuff! That being said, I can't tell you how many O'Driscoll and Lemoyne Raider camps I've snuck up upon with a well-placed sizzling stick. BOOM! - gone.

I'm not the one to ask. I just started Chapter 4 yesterday and realized I'm STILL using the Cattleman Revolver. 😒

The tool is a Godsend. With it, you can basically post anything in-game you like, and only those whom choose to view it will do so. Use it liberally, use it early, use it often. Thank you for championing this cause, @BropolloCreed79

I think the words "worst game ever" effectively destroyed any credibility their rating might have had.

For me, I don't really equate sex in video games to brothels and prostitutes. Honestly, if they want to do an implied sex scene -- something like, a woman you've been courting for some time sits down with you by the fire, then a kiss, then she gets up and closes/locks a door (that the camera's behind) -- I'm all for that. That's emotion and connection, and gives you the implication of a romantic night together without being graphic. The Bond films did that very well: sensual, but never nudity or graphic scenes. I think making a romantic connection with characters would greatly help with immersion. I'd like that a ton more than the camera following Arthur into a prostitute's room in the second floor of a saloon for a quick boink.

it does sound epic. But I must tell you, what I am most excited about is actually riding through the original RDR map and seeing the differences and similarities. I know the first map so well, I can't wait to ride through it again but in a different way, actually in the past! I'm still waiting. Mine arrives today.

Are you kidding me?? Lots of us ( @TheHansonGoons, @Truth, @Freddie Mercury, @BropolloCreed79, @NthnButAGoodTime) are migrants from the once extremely popular Friday the 13th: The Game forums. There was about this much activity before the game was released, but when it DID release -- POW! The population absolutely exploded! I expect no less with this forum.

Ughhhh . . . that shouldn't even be a comparison to Rockstar. That looks more like "The House of The Dead"- style graphics. R* could do so SOOO much better. Plus, I absolutely detest FPSs.

I think early play of this game should be reserved for those of us who actually wore a leisure suit or a butterfly collar when they were first popular. And you're married?? Wow, you must have an understanding wife! I'm still about 15 - 20 years away from retirement, and even THEN, I can't see her being fine with me gaming all day every day.

Totally. I really don't want to see any kind of advanced technology - alien or otherwise - in an 1899 game. However, hunting a gothic band of vampires at night with holy and wooden weapons - THAT would be an AWESOME follow-up to "Undead Nightmare". Hell, it could be called "Unholy Nightmare"! . . . wish I were getting paid for this. 😒
