  1. Will do from here. I wasn't sure if the rule applies to this scenario because it was in free roam. My bad.
  2. Yup, I found one next to Moonstone Pond as well.
  3. I was shocked about this. If anything I was doing the dishonorable act by accepting the Player Assassination mission from The Kid. The player wasn't the posse leader, but it one of the posse of 4. Long story short, I beat the mission, got the player the mission set up towards. The leader killed me back, then I said on the mic that it was for a mission and just hoping for a "kill for kill" kind of moment. Knowing a typical posse, you would think they would just keep shooting at you. They didn't fire a single shot when I high tailed it from them. I even used my rear-view and saw them going their own way. Kudos to whatever posse that was.
  4. This really sounds like a nice update. I look forward to it when it comes out.
  5. I'll try to keep this in mind for the next time I'm up against a cheater as obvious as this encounter. Thank you partner!
  6. I have Xbox, but I wish I knew how to get video evidence. That scenario clearly showed he had infinite health. That's a bummer, thanks for the advice nonetheless.
  7. Cheaters in PvP events: at least those are optional and avoidable. Cheaters in free roam, well I apparently experienced a griefer god because I went through a full load with a lancaster and the guy literally did not lose any health (the game even says it hit him, just no health lost). He shot my horse early, so I simply backed off the game for a bit, I was so irked. Thoughts?
  8. Just tried this out, and yes this definitely works. Thanks for showing this table. The only negative on this (but still more worth the wait depending on the mission), is it makes you more vulnerable to those oh-so-lovely griefers screwing it up. One of them put a bounty on me because I beat the mission anyways. Gotta love those griefers who can't take a griefer fail hahaha
  9. I was always curious if how long you take to finish the stranger missions had any affect on payout for completing it. The most I've made in a single stranger mission was 36 gold nuggets, just over $20 and almost 500 xp. I wasn't sure if this the norm in the RDRO or am I just playing those missions too fast. If I remember correctly, GTA Online supposedly had a similar concept with time factoring into the payout. I haven't played that in a while, so I'm not sure if that still exists in the game, or did ever exist. But, there was definitely a lot of rumors in about that theory in GTA Online.
  10. My favorite thing about black bears is if you're hunting on foot and one is right there, it will just keep roaring at you without attacking you. I've by so many black bears without it eating me yet lol.
  11. I've also seen a cougar and grizzly fight each other out to determine who gets to "try" to turn you into lunch haha.
  12. Mine is the panther challenge because I've only seen it spawn in it's usual spot, which is just outside of Braithwaite Manor. Another one that makes no sense is trying to jump on your horse from 9 meters above. I've only seen this challenge once, and for some reason couldn't time that one right. The prairie chickens, as others mentioned, really depends on the spot. Although, I personally haven't had much trouble with that challenge yet.
  13. Granted I don't play much showdown and some players can have their best ability card setup towards certain formats. But it seems that every time I play showdown, I feel like I'm playing with an airsoft gun or all my guns play like I have no ammo throughout the match. Revolvers, lancasters, litchfield, bolt action rifle (slow fire rate, but at least I got a few kills with it), But I probably shouldn't bother with showdowns.
  14. I played a couple play throughs in rdr2 story mode, but a newbie in rdo (started about a week ago). I was through challenges to gain xp, with one of them finding 100 treasure maps to obtain a belt buckle. I wasn't sure if there really is that many since I've been told that you only get a treasure map every 5 levels from lvl 10- lvl 50. Just curious.
  15. Yeah, Especially paying the max bounty... "He's a great guy. He wiped out half of St. Denis, but he still payed off his huge bounty, so he's cool." Lawmen
  16. Mine sounds like an "Amateur Bounty" compared to others, but mine was $425. I was trying to complete the bandit challenge where you need to have a $250 bounty to complete the challenge. Then gained extra by doing whatever it took to evade the lawmen. Although, I did keep that bounty on my head and had fun messing with the bounty hunters from up above on top of one the rocks in the Heartlands area. Not to mention, the bounty hunters has nice horses to steal if caught and bonded. This one's slightly off topic, but am I the only one who finds it funny how bounty hunters will still try to hunt you down over a $5 bounty?
  17. Definitely that when it come to putting too much loyalty in the wrong person. Another one is
  18. Hi all, I was wondering if there were any life lessons that we could possibly learn from the game. Whether the lesson is obvious or low-key throughout the story. There was a Youtube video that talked about real life lessons could be learned from RDR1, but nothing similar that had to with RDR2. Note: This is my first original post about any game in general, so I decided to put the spoiler warning out of courtesy, and out of uncertainty.
  19. Out of those four, Sean: Most likely would side with Dutch, since he seemed to like him more than Arthur did. Kieran: If Arthur decided to save him under his own terms, he would side with Arthur. Even under Dutch's terms (although more doubtful), he still might side with Arthur assuming he would do the job. But, Kieran would more likely run later on, out of disbelief. Lenny: Arthur, they seemed to have built a pretty strong bond. Hosea: Could really go any direction. He may side with Dutch due to how long they were running together. He could side with Arthur, since Hosea was also noticing Dutch's decline. But, I honestly wouldn't count out Hosea even running neither because he had a nasty cough at the camp to the point where he might think "I'm too old for this." No pun intended, I always liked Hosea's character.
  20. Exiting the game seems like it did the job. I have Xbox Thanks
  21. Hi everyone, RDR2 is a great game, awesome story and so on. In my second play-through as Arthur. It has it's bugs and glitches like most games do, but this particular bug I noticed right after it's most recent update. For some reason during a random encounter, it won't let me fight back or even aim at enemies, not even during an ambush since the update. The only control setting I adjusted is setting the aim/lock in normal settings, which I adjusted after the first mission of the story. Arthur now seems like he doesn't want to defend himself since last night's update. Not sure whether I have the controls set up wrong, this is an old combat bug that I just started experiencing the first time in the game, or is this a new big after the update. Please let me know if anyone else has this issue Thanks
