In my 50's, but younger in my head most of the time. ; ) Been a vidiot since they rolled an Astroids game into my local pool hall.

Still hoping to find a good active posse. I'm sure that would improve the game for me in a number of ways actually.

I just realized that I was past level 50 after finishing an event. Except for two occasions where I grouped, one today as it happens, it's been a solo experience in an online game lol. I know a lot of people have their complaints, and I for sure won't disagree with a lot of them, but I have to say I'm still enjoying this game. I generally still suck at PVP though, but I'm trying to get better. I decided to finally get a little better knowledge of the ability cards and hoping I can find a fit for how I play. Unfortunately they don't have a "hand over your eyes while running madly firing wildly in every direction" card... Does anyone have any general advice on how to improve in the pvp area?

I played some game years and years ago called Silk Road Online and there were monkeys and squirrels you could buy that did all your looting for you. Worked like a charm too. So having hunting dogs that could retrieve birds and small game should be easy peasy to add. It would be awesome and totally realistic as far as immersion goes.

Agreed. I did respond and explain. I was even more jumpy at the time because a few minutes prior some random rode by and popped me in the head, which was what it was, but then they killed my horse. So I was Scrawny Nag Angry at the time!

I'm on a lot and tired of playing solo all the time. Need a message before invite or respond here with gaming tag so I know to accept.

Going out of their way to negatively impact the enjoyment of another player is griefing. Someone killing me once is playing the game. Someone looking for me after I respawn and don't come back for revenge, is a griefer. Someone killing me while I'm on a mission that's designed for other players to interfere is playing the game. Someone waiting around the butcher to kill players before and after they do their business is griefing. Griefers are di*ks. Usually small ones.

I spin and kill anyone venturing into a gang hideout I'm clearing. Yesterday I got a PSN message calling me rude because the player just wanted to help. I felt bad. I'm still shooting first and asking questions later though.

I would accept them more if I knew why. I would like to find an active posse actually, so welcome the opportunity. Or would more gladly assist with missions etc. I don't want to be Johnny Wingnut's backup after they tried griefing the wrong person though.

Has anyone heard anything about them fixing how everything is gone off your horse after you've joined an event? I would join a heck of a lot more, but my horse is so often loaded down with pelts and carcasses I've hunted. The sparse butcher locations don't help either.

I apologize if one of the posse invites came from someone who read this thread. I'm wary of accepting.

I echo the person saying they do travel to out of the way locals. I suck at pvp right now, so I'm careful. Very careful ...

Just looking for company to do missions with, hunt etc. I like to think I play clean, and enjoy the pve experience when that's what I'm doing. I'm starting to dip my toe into the various pvp matches and such too. I'm out hunting and fishing a lot. I have a mic, but don't know how to join lobbies etc yet ( Help! It's so lonely out there! ;D ) I'm an adult and although I can occasionally drop an f- bomb or two, I don't generally cuss and yell when I play. I do enjoy my gaming though! so I get into it! I'm not overly skilled either, but not helpless in a firefight.
