13 CHARACTERS IN REAL LIFE -Red Dead Redemption 2
Fribbo replied to Mattdrenaline's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Cool video, you really did your research, there was definitely a lot of similarities between the fictional characters in RDR and the real-life outlaws you chose. -
So I watched one of Red Bandit's latest videos and he discusses the different advertising Rockstar use through billboards, he also states how there are different locations where R* advertise the different billboards each time that they release a game and begin advertising. Here's the link to the video : He also mentions that one of the regular billboard locations has not been used so R* may not be using the same, but funny enough one pops up hours later. What do you guys think of the billboards if you've seen them? If not would you like to? Let me know.

I've played the RDR story so many times, I usually play through the story once every 3 months +, currently playing through the story again in preparation for RDR 2.

@CMcC Yeah I can't wait to ride off of there.
-
@CMcC Could be.

@Archbell may have changed the features to mislead everyone to thinking it isn't the same guy.

I presume that uses these forums must have had seen the latest Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Video. I've noticed a character who hasn't been shown in any previous videos/ trailers before. Here are a few screenshots of the mysterious guy/guys. He can also be seen in the online bonuses for pre-ordering as well, I apologize for the quality had to zoom, but you can make out it's the same guy. What do you guys think?

How keen are you on extended customization?
Fribbo replied to Anc1entC0re's topic in Red Dead Online
Couldn't agree more, the game would feel a lot of more restricted from variety without customization. -
Ha, I never usually try to troll people and constantly kill them until they quit or I get a hate message, but I will definitely retaliate, unless it's different in RDR 2 where there are different roles which vary from Outlaws, Cattle Rustlers, Lawmen, Bounty Hunters, if it is like that I'm definitely choosing to be an outlaw. And having a companion by my side is too much of liability sadly.๐

Thanks for the warm welcome @Archbell I'll be sure to add you up. Yep, looks like PS are Rockstar's favorites for RDR 2.

I was thinking about that a few months ago, I was debating with some friends about it and we was discussing about if we will see Tumbleweed before it did get deserted, and we was also trying to find info about a possible date for when the town did get deserted. The wiki for Tumbleweed is the best place to try and find out when the town last had been occupated. http://reddead.wikia.com/wiki/Tumbleweed The only dates to go by are what are marked on the graves at the church in Tumbleweed, the latest date recorded on the grave stones was 1906, 5 years before the events of RDR 1, so there is a possibility of seeing Tumbleweed before it got haunted and deserted.

I agree, people who play it properly will definitely learn the whole map, but people who do not play it that much will never learn everything there is to do with the map. I sure hope the RDR2 map will be the biggest one to date. Rockstar need to go all out for their first game created for next-gen consoles.

Of course @Ibarrola I look forward to getting familiar with all the regulars, I will log on and post daily!

I am so excited for the game to drop, it is on my mind all day every day, looking forward to playing through the campaign then playing online.
-
I'd like to see companions in the game, but I'm not sure it will be a good idea to put them online, based on people constantly killing me and my horse in RDR or someone constantly blowing me and my personal vehicle in GTA. I have no doubt that players that do this will refrain themselves from killing your companion.
-
It won't be as exciting as GTAOnline it will be MORE exciting.๐
-
It just doesn't feel right playing multiplayer before you play the story mode, in my opinion, have to play through the story always before online, especially with a game like Red Dead with one of the best gaming stories ever.

Based on what was the said in the first gameplay video, where there will be horses for different purposes, possibly heavy carrying (carriages and stagecoaches) and horses for speed. I feel like we will be able to purchase horses online and we will be able to choose the horses that have been purchased in our camp. I doubt we will be able to have a bond with horses online because of other players griefing you. Unless the relationship doesn't get affected if other players kill it?

Already checked out the gamer tag thread and Iโll check out the rules and introduce myself now. -
Yeah if it does get shot off then you should be able to pick it back again, one small detail that helps show how much effort has been put it.
