to GMak81, no it has nothing to do with artistic choice. This is a game and not a film.. For cutscenes it is acceptable, but not on horseriding scenes or gunfights on feets or horse. It is nearly unplayable with the blur. No this game is not created for first person. No rockstar games game is created for first person. All games of rockstar are created for third person viewing. No it is not better to play in first person. I can´t play this game in first person. On horseback first gives you a bad headache and a nausea feeling. I hope a bigger wave will come that want that rockstar games fix that issues when the online multiplayer comes out. No hardcore multiplayer gamer want play this game with this heavy blurring mist in the game. No I´m sure. For fast actiongameplay you need a clean graphic. Look to PUBG or Battlefield or something else. With this blur it is not playable. We play a game and not cinematic cine style western movie with 24 frames per second. Yes it is a limitation of a camera. I´m a photograph and one rule says a image is bad if the completze image is unsharp. When you use Depth of field, something must be sharp. For portraits the charakter must be sharp, for landscape the landscape or all. This is a rule of photographic techniques. This is no art style. The same for motion blur in filming. Ok, I can´t play the game anymore. It is the same for me with playing trevor in GTA V. I will not kill or suppress and abuse poor people. You have no chance to play a person, that is no killer or murder. This game triggers me in many ways. I´m out. It is the same for me to playing Trevor in GTAV. I become nearly no response from the controller in odyssey to. Blue tooth connection is faster for me. So I´ve tested it. And the graphic looks clearer to me, but the response of my controller is very low when I switch the communication method to usb in the controller settings. Nearly no response. I´m using at all time a 3m USB 3.0 cable, because of battery power. Spoiler The mission with stealing horses is unplayable for me. over 20 runs in this mission and my npcs were killed from bullets out of nowhere. Has anyone this issue. The mission is in act 2. That is so strange but this reduces the hyper blur for me. The TAA is off with this setting. This wrote a user in the DF Thread.
