ZLion
In RDR1, we had a lot of wide open land to explore. The desert was a very cool place for not only hunting but just generally riding your horse through. Is anyone going to miss that? In the next one it seems we will be more north and have more grassy areas. Not so much Mexican territory. Likely be more focused on Native Americans as well. Benjo
I very rarely visited mexico, aside from the odd bit of escapism. I much prefer fields.
ArmedNAruba
We have hardly seen anything about this game yet. Who says there won't be any deserts?
Jamesie
Hoping they have a nice mix again in scenery with the next game. Switching the music, people and the general look and feel always helps break up a game. Remember in the original GTA games where you had to wait to unlock other portions of the map (sure you could head there in some way but not without having the pigs on your tail)...I think RDR may have been the last game that did this from Rockstar? Reyes
I don't really know anything as far as where the game will take place. I mean if it is playing off the first one, it will likely still have desert spots as it will have to be more down south to stay with the same story, no? We don't know where it will take place or even when. I would not be surprised if it is down south again tho.
