CrabApples
I am trying to grow my hair out again. Someone told me if I do something called "micro trims" it will grow faster. I guess getting the tips cut every 6 weeks makes this happen. To me, it doesn't make any sense. I am going to see what my sister's friend says. She used to cut my hair for me. LinXX
This sounds like the "shaving makes hair grow back thicker" thing. No it does not. It does keep hair from breaking off though. So yeah getting your hair trimmed more often is good for that but getting too much cut off will result in it taking a lot longer to grow. My hair is nearly to my butt, I know what I am talking about lol
Suck3rPunch3d
It just makes it break less like LinXX said. The longer you go without a cut, the thinner the ends can become from being split. You are starting very short tho so no worries.

People overthink the process of hair growth these days. It isn't rocket science.
CrabApples
Thanks guys. Yeah I guess cutting it on the tips is fine. I will keep that in mind. I really don't do anything to it that would cause damage but I want it to be longer by winter.
