Flaco/Granger sights drive me nuts.

Do the crooked/uneven sights on both the Granger and flaco revolver drive anyone else nuts in first person? I gave up on them and went back to the regular cattleman. I tried real hard to like them but just can't do it. I like the sights demensions on the flaco/Granger revolver.   The Granger sights hav a more realistic scale and are like what real sight tends to look like . The cattleman is extremely wide rear sight and skinny front post which is just plain weird. But it works for game play. The unevenness of the Granger/flaco just kills it for me.  I don't understand why they would make the sights appear to uneven and crooked. Here's a pic of all three revolvers mentioned. Anyone else notice this?

@Bones741 first person hurts my eyes...

Same.  And it's Arthur not the gun,  he needs to hold it straighter and line the sights up better horizontally, they should be flat across, not front sight raised.  and Granger's revolver is in such bad shape to begin with, who knows if it's even true, might have slight bend in the frame.

I think first person controls and views was an afterthought and not really designed properly for the game. I play it in third person and I do believe that is how it is intended. But I do feel that they should not have allowed us to play with first person controls if they cannot even line up a gun sight properly.

Sorry for my English, I know my grammar is lacking.

I don't do the FP play in the game unless I am forced to and I think this will be the case for a lot of guns cause the game is meant to be played differently.

Yeah some of the sights are not used correctly in the game such as resting the front sight completely ontop of the rear sight (standard cattleman sights) you would only need to have a sight picture like that if shooting looooog range IRL, that's the way Elmer Keith rolled.  There's a few rifle sights that line up weird too,Spencer carbine for example. All of which I can deal with BUT...

I get not having the sights oriented the way they would be IRL  to allow for an easier sight picture. You're right the game is definitely geared towards third person , though I enjoy the hell out of FP, and it's much smoother than GTA 5 FP was. I mainly play FP, aim FP with sights bit I do use third person on horseback and when behind cover . However my point is they could at least make the sights on the Granger/ flaco centered and even . I mean they are crooked AF! LOL.

I agree, it must have been obvious to any tester at R* that the sights on the guns look bad and in some cases plain wrong. It is not like it is rocket science to understand that the sight should not be bent. So yes, R* should have made a better job with that part even if the game is mainly made for playing in third person.
