Ugrading Saddlebags - what does it give you?

I bought this last night for my new horse (Plumkin 4) but I have no idea what it gives me if anything. I can't hold more outfits, so I'm not sure it was worth it unless it holds more of something.

During this beta phase, I believe there is no actual benefit from upgrade. We just blew hard earned cash on a cosmetic item.

I've just found this out the hard way, too.  

I should have guessed - it's the same with my stirrups that should be reducing my core drain but aren't.

Untrue you can hold more of a specific category in your sathchel. The kit I think but can't remember easy to check put on upgraded screenshot items then put on old satchel

I haven't drained much money into it but something like this has to have a purpose.

Please come back and verify this. I would actually like to know if this is it cause I have yet to find a use myself but I am sure there is one.

Mmmm really? My upgraded saddle bag holds 10 of everything, except jewellery.  Hardly a significant upgrade. $80 is a lot of money in this game.

For the money you spend on it, I don't think it is worth it. I would imagine there will be better bags in the future. Maybe this got overlooked, I am not sure but I wouldn't waste my money on them just yet.

Anyone tried upgraded saddlebags recently? 

I didn't see anything in any of the patch notes, but just checking whether I missed it and these are now fixed?
