Receiving a reward for saving npc from snake bite? video

I havent seen this yet, from any npcs I have saved. If you dont notice them trying to grab your attention does the opportunity go away?

I don't think they go away.  I saved a guy in chapter 2 and got his "reward" in chapter 3.

I too have gotten the reward after the fact. 

Anything that can raise your honor like greeting people or helping them out continues to happen so I would imagine this is the same.

I rode past someone who was trying to flag me down in town a day or so after I gave him some medicine for a snakebite.  Still got my reward after taking care of the other business I was attending to when I got back to him.  Glad I didn't miss out!

The one you see again in Valentine is the important one.  who doesn't want a free gun?

I didn't pass down this one so I don't know, but I did ignore some of events in the game and they never occurred for me again so maybe its possible ?;p don't know if its any help ;p

I nearly skipped it myself but it is worth it. They made the game in a way that if you are able to get anything for free, you bloody well better take advantage of it!
