Split from treasure takings

When you're playing as posse what's the split on  the treasure  takings found from maps? Does it depend on who invited who to the game?

They don't split bud. If your talking about level progression maps only you collect those , if your talking about maps from gang hideout , whoever picks the map up , if there is one ,gets the treasure. Have never seen a split yet and I'm level 138. Hope this helps

When I'm with a friend or a group, we usually divide up the bodies between us for gang hideouts, ambushes, etc.

it should definitely give your posse members a small payout since they could potentially helped you find one, or help you find the treasure.
