Online character names..

i noticed that at start when i created my character , i has to name it . but ingame all we see is my online ID , naming our character become totally useless  or am i wrong ?

Hi pluck,

I'm now @lvl 63 n have no idea what I called my guy 4months back.  Its never been shown onscreen in a mission briefing, or used as part of the text when something happens.  Maybe R* wanna know what the most popular names are lol.

 

I really don't think it matters what you call your char.  I probably named mine the same as my user id.

you can see it in the Tab Player on the leftpad options, to see your core drain %

I agree it was kinda pointless but a novelty all the same.

Aye. When I named my character, I thought it might have a bit more impact in the game. I was sorely mistaken.
