Problems with bring a god damn posse mission

Every time I start up the mission we get up to the part where we have to move a volunteer. And I every time I try to place them somewhere it never registers. I give up and some one else tries and they can’t get it either and we all just wind up quitting. It’s happened 3 times. Is this a super common problem?

We've run that one about four times without incident... I will admit to being a little confused about placing them the first time but my Posse members figure it out

Do you have this mission completed in your story mission menu? Press start / Progression / Story Mission - here it will tell you  what story missions you have done.

If you do have it unlock / complete, you have to be positive honor to start it. If you are dishonorable, you can't start it from this menu and only can access it the quick join.
