dIV4r Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Do you think Rockstar will do heavier plugging into social media through RDR2 Online? I don't mean just advertising stuff but encouraging people to share things online. I feel like these days, most games encourage it be it on Twitter, Youtube, or even Facebook. Then many have their own social networks for sharing too.
Anc1entC0re Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Like how do you mean? There are sharing options built into the systems for social accounts already so anything outside of what Rockstar already does would seem like overkill.
Gh0stRyder Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 I guess they could have features for directly uploading video clips and stuff but I think most people would be too busy playing the game to give a crap lol

So adding onto this within the game is pointless. Rockstar has their social club which will work with RDR2 already anyways.

This is down to Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, not gaming devs themselves though I am sure they like when their games get more attention for good reasons.
SNAK3S Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 (edited) This would be pointless. They don't need any more social integration than they already have. Some of us try to avoid social media... Even if I am saying that while on a forum. Just ignore that part. Edited May 5, 2018 by SNAK3S
