It should go well with the level 20 horse that I’m going to unlock in the Trader Role. Yep, so use what you enjoy and what makes you happy for sure. Last night I hit level 20 in the moonshiner and I bought both the level 20 horses from that role, I am really liking them, mostly because of their coats and height. One looks great with my Panther saddle and the other looks amazing with the Rattlesnake skin saddle. both seem great so far, I cant wait to see how they are at level 4 bonding. I heard that the level 20 horse in the Moonshiner DLC is one of the best.

They seem to me to be a combination of all three other role horses. You get the temperment of the Breton, the speed of the Criollo and the size of the Kladruber. The only thing I dont love about them are the coats. I love the Klad and Breton coats for the level 10 and level 20 horses, but the Roadsters are meh at best. I do like the level 5 and 10 coats, but I didnt buy either as my stables are nearly full, I had to get rid of my Criollo to buy the second Roadster, and I did that because I never use the Criollo, I dont like it, it is too small and I dont care about the extra speed vs the size and the coat. Anyway, thats my take. so far the Roadster has been great, I have one to level 4 bonding and the other level 3. They are great for hunting, fighting, etc... At level 1 and 2 they will buck you off in a fight or if they run across a gator or snake, but once you get to level 4 they are much better. 1
AaronT Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 The collector saddle is ugle and huge but it has the best numbers I have seen. I like the Fletcher and the BH saddle also. I wish beyond anything else though that the best spurs were not the hooded ones, they are so ugly.
Herta47 Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 (edited) Best combination: Nacogdoches + hooded stirrups. Three extra bars for speed and acceleration! Max of all combinations. Don't wait any longer! Edited February 9, 2020 by Herta47 1

I’ve got 4 of them so that I can ensure when one gets killed the next one coming out has the Nag and hoods set up .... 1
maefall Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 I may not fully understand but doesn't the bounty hunter saddle (the upland) have better stats than the Nacogdoches?

Yeah, The Upland has better stats. But we can’t put stirrups on The Upland. Putting stirrups on the Nacogdoches with the Norfolk Roadster horse, will give you max speed and 1 away from max on acceleration.
SourdoughPancakes Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 This article does a pretty good job of giving the run down on the various saddles in the game. Trapper made saddles for the win! Just remember that if you really want a stable saddle to also get the Hooded Stirrups to go with it.
