Carolina parakeet

I've looked everywhere for that bird all kinds of sites suggesting places and different times and nothing what so ever I'm In chapter 3 Just about Into chapter 4 any Ideas?.....I was thinking I needed to clear out all the gators In the area before they'd spawn but not sure

I found one spawn point by accident which was in the swamp area south of Shady Belle, but they haven't spawned in any of the other locations that online guides have pointed to.

At least I was able to study the bird in that one instance in order to complete its compendium entry, though.

Be sure to use a bow on the gators, or else you'll spook the parakeets.
