RDO is Literally Full of cheaters.

So now that the new updates fixed most of my problems, at least for me, and the game run smoothly, I encountered another gamebreaking problem.

CHEATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are everywhere! In almost every session i join they're there! It's gamebreaking, its annoying. and R* isnt doing anything . i keep reporting them and nothing happens. they should ban them immediately from the game ffs.

If you dont believe me this is a short list of all the cheaters ive encountered.

-CHEATERS who spawn a double character which look exactly lke you and who keep shooting you from nowhere and when you get killed it says: Killed by stranger

-CHEATERS who make you explode from the ground unlimited times until you quit or change session

-CHEATERS who somehow teleport all players from the sky and then everyone fall down and die

-CHEATERS who are level 20-30 and are OP and me level 185 cant do much, they all use weapons which are unlocked at that level and one shot everytime.

 

THIS IS UNPLAYABLE rockstar  ban these cheaters! ffs!

Edit: Idk where to type this tbh. its pretty useless to send a feedback to rockstar as they never really listen to what i type them, and i want to show everyone on this forum this problem

While I can empathize with your problem, this is pretty common knowledge for PC gamers especially those playing GTAO or RDO.  .....although it's a problem in other games too.

It's a shame but I know it's also a never ending battle for developers.  Some games are easier to curb this kind of behavior and others are not.  ......some devs do a better job of it and others do not.

I agree with you. I just recently created my PC character. The following session after that was full of moder griefers. This mornings gaming session going into this afternoon was problem free. It is hit or miss. I don't have a problem with moders until they use it to start griefing. 

GTA Online has moders, but this is worse. We need the ability to create invite only, solo session that don't punish those who wish to play this mode.

Aye. True!, but what pisses me off are not griefers. (Of course they're very annoying but there are some players who attack others for having a shootout and sometimes its funny. The real problem are the cheaters as i said before because you cant even fight them, they use all those things ive listed and its literally impossible to do anything, even reporting them is useless. Ive seen people getting banned in other games for much less tbh.

After a couple of years away I installed the game again yesterday and in one session I was attacked by a zombie or burn scarred player who was bullet proof, so I just logged off. I was attacked by another zombie/burned character today. I am leveled up in most trades and just got back in to relax and take SSs and video but have made a trade run and some money fishing. It does suck that someone attacks you out of nowhere, does not show up like regular players do, and cannot be hurt in any way.

I think I'll keep on playing and at the first site of explosions and such, or having a zombie grab me (You do not see them, they just appear) I'll immediately hit the ESC key then online, and join another server.

One thing I'd forgotten about was to immediately hit the L key followed by players in the menu and joining another server if there were players with really high experience points, or quite a few players with higher points than me (If they are not modders, many of them want a challenge of fighting someone with a decent amount of points, but lower than they have) or if there are many players period.

 

I mainly came back to the game to see it in ultra settings with my new GPU as I had them turned down quite a bit before.  Sadly there are cheaters, and I do not get cheating at all, if I don't earn something, I don't want it.

To me going form player to player killing them when they have zero chance of hurting me would be so boring, I can understand buying gold bars to speed things along a little at first, but cannot imagine just not playing the game and creating my own life in it.

I have always been a single player in games, as I first played RDR2 on Xbox but recently got it on PC when I could afford to update it, and I was loving it more on PC. So then I thought I would give it a go online (during my second play through with single player) and yes it is a real grind and so far I am up to level 11 but then all the crap started with others using mods. (I had to google it to find out what was going on )
Yes I understand talking to RS is a total waste of time as I contacted them a few years ago about other things, might as well bash my head against a brick wall.

It is such a shame that they can't put some form of control in the online game (anti cheats). I will persevere for a little longer but I will see.

RDR2 is the best game I have ever played and I love all the variation of things to do, hunting, fishing, missions etc, at your own pace. It is a shame if that is the way the online game is.
