The preorder nightmare

Recommended Posts

Wondered if someone could just clarify for me a few things about the preorder bonuses?

I have had my red dead 2 preordered from Amazon Marketplace for months on end. Pretty much as soon as it was up on Amazon for preorder I did it.

Does that mean I'll get this war horse and bandit pack thing? Or is that if you preorder in some other way (digitally)?

Thanks guys. X

Hi, from https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/60459/The-Red-Dead-Redemption-2-Special-Edition-Ultimate-Edition-and-Collect

In addition to the War Horse and Outlaw Survival Kit mentioned above, digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store will also receive these added rewards:

Cash Bonus for Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode: The Van der Linde gang is always looking for ways to make more money and bring in new supplies. This in-game cash bonus will give Arthur Morgan enough to buy a weapon, some food, a handful of useful items and ammunition.

Treasure Map: Secret buried treasure can be found throughout the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. This exclusive Treasure Map for Story Mode will give Arthur a head start on the hunt for hidden riches. Must pre-order by August 15, 2018.

Usually on pre-orders, all of your major distributors will have their own little bonuses.  So if you get the it through Amazon, if there is any extra bonuses you will get what you paid for.  Gamestop usually has theirs.  PS generally has something and same with Xbox.  In the past it was usually something a little different, but now days I think everyone get s the same.

Thanks all, that helps. I kinda dont want the war horse or the pack though, urghh, just wanted to put in the hours with progressing with my horse. Hopefully there might be a way to turn off the bonus, or it be an option if you want to use it.

I'm sure whether or not you use the war horse is up to you. Or at least it better be. I want no part of that creature.
