  1. This is a question for anyone that has played modded games before: Do you think it should be allowed (at least for single-player content) or do you think it has no place at all? I ask this only because I just read over on PCGamer that a modding tool has been taken down recently which was used to mod GTA V (and other GTA games) in the past. I guess this only affects you if you used mods in the past or if you are planning to use them at some point. For me personally I like having the ability to mod games or use mods as they're fun, allow us to enjoy the game created in a different way to what the original game provided and also keep us playing the game in hopes of additional official content provided by the developer. This of course also means that I don't approve of them if they're used to cheat online but I honestly wouldn't try and use mods online unless the game officially supported them (i.e. with Ark: Survival Evolved). I created my own mod for GTA V (just something personal) quite a while back that used bits and pieces of other mods (to show the in-game speed). I then used this to create my own "Speed" mini game where I wouldn't be allowed to drop below a certain speed for longer than three seconds before blowing up. It was fun, taught me about scripthook and kept me playing the game in ways I'd never thought about playing it. What are your thoughts? Bonus - This was the first thing I did, I created a mod that simply displayed my current speed, the fasted speed I'd ever travelled in the current vehicle and then also the fasted I've ever been in any vehicle:

  2. Something I was thinking that could be fun if it were in the game is group treasure hunts. This would be on the online servers and you can take like say 4 people on this with you. So say they allow a limit of 16 per server, you can have 4 gangs hunting for the same treasure. Talk about mayhem! I think this would be hilarious and really fun. Like each server can host just one hidden treasure per 24 hours. They can hide is really well and allow players to find clues. The treasure will be special guns, money, and maybe some rare clothing drops. What do you guys think?

  3. Hey @lonestar, just an FYI. You still have Fall 2017 as the release date in your FAQ. Dig this site, I hope we get a new trailer someday... counting down the hours until Q2 2018.

  5. Just to reaffirm my earlier statement about the game only being as good as the PS4 Pro can manage, it looks like this may be the case. In a recent interview with Phil Spencer, he acknowledged that there "may be" clauses that force parity of fidelity, but that he's fundamentally against it, of course because it would effectively cap some games on the 'X'. There's rumors floating around that Destiny 2 was capped at 30 FPS not only because of this, but also because the original XB1 needs to be given consideration. Sony's Jim Ryan: http://www.vg247.com/2017/06/14/sonys-jim-ryan-isnt-worried-about-xbox-one-xs-power-game-devs-more-likely-to-aim-for-lowest-common-denominator/ Phil Spencer: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/e3-2017-phil-spencer-talks-xbox-one-x-potentially-/1100-6450916/ All in all, I don't suspect any platform really has any leverage to force this sort of policy with Rockstar, and in fact, it's Rockstar that calls the shots and maintains the parity. .......please be a PC version on release, please be a PC version..
