  1. If a gal ever tells you she don't get why grown men enjoy video games, show her this. Uggg... Such a good moment.

  2. I'm not sure why there's so much discussion in comparing the two. RDR is literally GTA: Wild West without the overly exaggerated and satirical social commentary. Also, the notion that Take Two and Rockstar are somehow adverse to internal competition doesn't make much sense. Sure, it makes sense in terms of market cannibalization, but given Rockstar's tendency to value quality over quantity, it's evident that internal competition improved their games over time. For example, things such as bullet-time, assisted aiming, weapon wheels, mini-map elements, button-mashing mechanics, etc. Each successive game is a chance for Rockstar to learn what worked so that they can incorporate those new elements into future games. Whether it's GTA, RDR, Max Payne, or LA Noire, they all have a little Rockstar DNA within them; it's noticeable.

  4. Without knowing pretty much anything at the moment I guess I'd have to say the one way they could ruin it was if they have it end when you've completed the campaign. I very much doubt they'll do this (like Fallout 3 did initially before it's expansions and DLC) but it would suck if they did. I'd also hate it if they didn't at least include enough enjoyable distractions (like gambling, side-quests, etc.) but instead made it purely about the campaign. Again something I don't expect but it would ruin it for me. Lastly the lack of any additional single-player content (expansion, DLC, etc.) that extends the game by adding more story (ala Undead Nightmare or similar story additions like what the included with GTA IV). They seemed to have really focused purely on the online mode for GTA V so this makes me think they might do the same with RDR2 which would be very sad if the main campaign turns out to be something special. I guess it comes down to their online focus with GTA V that has me a little worried for RDR2 and it's longevity for solo "offline" players .

  5. I don't think the image with the silhouettes is going to be the cover. That's just temporary as we don't know who the characters are.

  6. That is EPIC! How have I not seen this before? Both of these are good but this one takes the cake. I hope someone makes a trailer of RDR2 like this after it comes out. This song just works so well.
