  1. We all know GTA is pretty famous for the "ladies for hire." Then again, so is the Old West. Mind you, this is not me saying, "THERE SHOULD BE HOOKERS IN THIS GAME!" I'm totally not. What I WOULD like to see, however, is the ability to nurture and invest in character relationships. It'd be great to be in town, notice a few different ladies have taken an interest in your character, and then you get to choose which (if any) you wanted to pursue. Hell, maybe even have the option to marry them. Of course, with Marston, your only real choice would be Abigail, 'cause . . . reasons. That, I think, would help quite a bit with immersion. If you are able to utilize your character to pursue relationships that interest YOU, that would make the experience all the better. At least in MY big, fat, hairy, stinky opinion, anyway . . . Thoughts . . . ?

  2. The botched robbery occurred in 1906 so he was out of the gang for 5 years. They might of assumed he was dead at first but after hearing no reports of his death or capture they probably knew he'd survived but I doubt they knew where he had decided to settle down unless they were told by Abigail, Jack or Uncle. After you capture or kill Javier, Edgar Ross and Archer Fordham tell you to make your way to West Elizabeth because they've received reports that Dutch van der Linde is in the area and some of their dialogue later on implies that Dutch has been recruiting and has only recently been spotted in the area. John states that he was left to die by his fellow gang members after being shot but he never mentions being captured, Edgar Ross and Archer Fordham track John down by unknown means prior to the beginning of Red Dead Redemption and threaten to kill his family if he doesn't hunt down his former brothers in arms. The train went past MacFarlane's Ranch but didn't stop there, after John got off the train it head South West so maybe Bonnie was meeting Amos in the South West region of New Austin to drive supplies back to MacFarlane's Ranch. Bonnie states that the Doctor in Armadillo is the one that saved his life so they obviously took John there first, when John first gains consciousness she tells him that the bullet was taken out a few days ago so maybe they took John back to MacFarlane's Ranch because they knew he was probably gonna be unconscious for a couple days and would need a safe place to rest. Although Bonnie appears to sceptical and wary of John, his actions and how he came to be shot in the first place I believe after spending some time with John she eventually came to have a fair amount of admiration for him. I also believe that after John opens up to Bonnie about his family, troubled past and his current predicament she feels genuinely sorry for him and probably didn't see the $15 or the horse as a major loss, especially after John had saved Drew, saved her and saved several horses from the barn fire. True, being a 21 year old male I can't comprehend the restraint John must have. I guess that could be considered a plot hole of sorts although I wouldn't share that opinion with your wife Yoda, she might not let you leave the house.

  3. Welcome Truth and Skunk. Hope you both enjoy it here. I actually didn't even notice the lack of rules on the forum. Everyone seems to be chill for the most part on here.

  4. Hi guys and welcome! We don't really have any official forum rules at the moment, something to work on I guess. We will no doubt need them as this place becomes more popular. For now as long as you don't post any obviously offensive content then you should be OK

  5. We'll see when you break down in tears and don't go out for 3 days after your horse gets injured and you have to put it out of its misery

  7. Maybe but it is a virtual animal that I won't have any emotional ties with. I find it easier to form bonds with human characters in video games vs animals. I have my own animals to bond with in real life. lol

  8. I doubt there'll be an option to romance women or pursue relationships in Red Dead Redemption II but I wouldn't say it's completely off the table as Rockstar have done that sort of thing in previous games with varied levels of success so I guess we'll have to wait and see. The only Rockstar game where I found the romance/relationship options to be worthwhile was GTA San Andreas, you put in a little effort and in return unlocked special vehicles and outfits from your various girlfriends across the state. If Rockstar were to implement something similar to this where you can unlock special rewards then I believe it would be a worthwhile addition to the game, I'm sure Rockstar have learnt their lesson from the Hot Coffee controversy and wouldn't make that mistake again.

  9. Well then, ya put ME as "average," friend. I played that multiplayer for hours every night after putting the kids to bed. Yes, it was a bit repetitive, but the shootouts, the "grab the bag" games, the Texas Hold 'Em games -- I got so good at all of 'em, I was one of the highest ranked players out there. I got to where NO one could beat me to the Quickdraw. And I came up with great tricks to win the "grab the bag" games. It was just a hell of a lot of fun to me. If they can improve on that, I'll be a happy camper, indeed.

  10. What made RDR Multiplayer average for you? I'm very curious as I personally thought it was near perfect and the only improvements I would've added were character creation/customization and in game money along with things to purchase with said money.

  11. I know a lot of people would be mad but the thought of building up a relationship with my horse for like 30+ in-game hours and having it mauled by a cougar makes me laugh. I would imagine though if this is the case, I can get all my weapons off the dead horse.

  12. yeah it scares the shit out of me to think that all that time and patience building a strong bond with your horse and the possibility of having it shot or fly off a cliff..i'd be savage! haha still, its going to make the game so much more interesting
