  1. YOUTUBE CHANNEL Was looking through some old west videos and scenes in preparation for red dead 2 and noticed the train scene in The Assassination of Jesse James is almost identical to the train scene in the trailer. Here’s a side by side comparison. Enjoy guys! A lot more interesting videos like this on my channel have a look ????????

  2. Ok, so I wanted to get a discussion on some of the best Western films of all time, and possibly suggestions of ones I have not yet considered. I'm on a marathon of Western films that should last through October in order to pump me up for RDR2. Before the marathon, Tombstone was my favorite, but ever since I watched Once Upon a Time in the West, that is now my favorite. Also, of all the movies, No Country for Old Men is my favorite movie, but I wonder if people consider this a real Western? I think it has all the right elements of a Western, as well as There Will Be Blood. Prior to the marathon, I had already seen: Tombstone The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Dances With Wolves True Grit (2010) Unforgiven The Magnificent Seven (1960) 3:10 to Yuma (2007) And some arguable neo-Westerns such as: No Country for Old Men The Revenant There Will Be Blood My current marathon has consisted of: Fistful of Dollars A Few More Dollars Stagecoach The Outlaw Josey Wales Once Upon a Time in the West True Grit (1969) The Hateful Eight To be watched: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid High Noon Rio Bravo The Man Who Shot Liberty Vance The Assassination of Jesse James Pale Rider High Plains Drifter Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddd some music!

  4. True story: my father is a HUGE fan of westerns. His streaming queue is full of them on all the services he uses. One night, my wife and I went out to dinner and he and my mom watched my kids. After the kids went to bed, he started watching BT. I got home halfway through the movie, and, knowing what was coming, advised my mother to stop watching. She ignored me, and you can imagine how that ended... Edit: I find the lack of Blazing Saddles on this thread disturbing.

  5. Damn man that is intense! I am sure they got their inspiration from a lot of shows and films as well as stories about the old west so this doesn't surprise me. Still really cool to see it side by side.

  6. Next on your list needs to be Silverado, Quigly Down Under, and Young Guns I & II before anything else. Then continue with what you’ve got. However, at some point you may want to check out The Proposition. And then, if you dare, Bone Tomahawk.

  8. I myself am more concerned about whether Red Dead Online will live up to Red Dead Redemption's Multiplayer or not, GTA Online has some really engaging features like owning property and extended character customization but overall I found GTA Online to be a stunningly beautiful but broken game. There's a serious lack of skill based PVP in GTA Online, it's non existent in Freeroam. It doesn't even feel like Grand Theft Auto anymore, everyone has the armaments of a small country so it's more like a third person Battlefield game these days which means new players don't even have a chance. I think there are some great features they could bring over from GTA Online but I'd much prefer they made balancing in Red Dead Online their first priority and therefore leave out GTA Online's God Mode and abysmal PVP combat.

  9. Revolver IS available for download on both the PSN and XBox stores . . . and I believe it's cheap! No reason not to check it out.

  10. It's whatever you want. You can even make the club closed where you can vet players before allowing them to join. Just set the rules in the description. As long as you're not breaking any forum rules with your club, I'm guessing Management would just fine with it.
