I thought same as you and partly still think that. but i put it here incase anyone else here has tried it out proper.matey who sent it me swears it works out but i am not sure.been solo for most of today and been trying it out.gold seems to be coming in strong but money feels a bit weak.really hard to work out unless you gonna sit there and time it all and compare.i dont care that much to do that haha so just wanted some opinions1 point

It has been my experience that when I selected "land of opportunities" option and yet it dumps me in free roam it is because there arent any available "land of opportunity" missions available top me, I had to lower my honor and then when I selected the land of opportunity I was able to go into matchmaking and play the remaining missions. If that isnt it, I would submit to Rockstar and explain it to them.1 point

I believe @Rick is referring to the main menu startup options. The "Free Roam" option will spawn you in close proximity to where you last quit the game. The "Land of Opportunities" option will load you into free roam, but you will immediately be placed into an "On Call Quick Join" queue for a random story mission1 point
