  1. I have not played RDO since sometime around Xmas. With it's current state and with what little Rockstar has said about future plans I am not really that interested in online. Disconnects, glitches and being hunted by randoms to me that is all forms of griefing. Never played GTA or any of the other Red Dead versions and don't care how things are done with those games. I have played different online games since sometime in 1995 and RDO is done in a strange way from where I sit. Single player is awesome and I don't regret buying it. I might even be interested is a future single player DLC. Online tho, meh.
  2. I think on the xbox the transaction goes through the Microsoft store. So a gift card for the Microsoft store should work, if they have those.
  3. Not real excited about this. It is a step up from the silence we have had, but only a baby step. I have a saying that sums it up. New does not mean it is better.
  4. On an xbox shut it down, not standby, completely off and then unplug the power cord for at least 10 seconds to clear the cache. I have only done the crime novel once and had not problem finding it on the table. Also I stock up on companion request items and never have any trouble.
  5. No sleep option here either. Have not done any camp upgrades, so don't know if that changes anything. And have not run across any other place that offers a sleep option.
  6. I doubt their idea of anti-griefing is anywhere close to my idea of anti-griefing. Right now I think parley is one of their anti-griefing ideas.
  7. I have lost 2 river lures online by being too aggressive. That was fishing normal sized fish. I take it much easier now.
  8. Wasn't me I swear. I would have used a 45 right to the head, but only after you kill me while i'm fishing or minding my business some other way.
  9. The one in the picture took some time for me to figure out. Finally caught it standing on the island above his tail.
  10. Drunk in game, real life or both?
  11. Riding my horse hard and came across 2 npc riders crossing a bridge. I bumped into 1 and 3 seconds later I was dead. Ya they have the same attitude as offline.
  12. Range wars, cattle men vs dirt/sheep farmers. Sign up as a hired gun for one side and start causing trouble.
  13. Giving herb gathering and sell them to the Doc in Valentine a try. Sell him 100 for the buckle and then reset. Decent XP and a couple of nuggets each time. Have done the shootout with the law in Saint Denis a few times and reset the achievement for staying wanted. Not bad, but it takes some time and uses a lot of ammo.
  14. NPC's are touchy in single player, bump their dog or them and that is a hanging offense. Have not seen how they act online, yet.
  15. Last chance is a kill with the last bullet in the gun.
  16. Whisky Sours on XBOX.
  17. Kill your wife, your kids and even your dog. Well guess in RDO i can't do those things. But I will kill your damn horse if I get the chance after you kill me while I'm minding my own business.
  18. The camp thing is goofy. When it is not to far I try to go there and cook something, about the only way I know to really fill up. Other than that is best to just ignore your camp, it has a mind of it's own.
  19. HI. Yes I was very surprised with the weapon models, seem to be real accurate. And I was very surprised that the volcanic pistol is a real gun, a very rare real gun. But unlike in the game where it is supposed to be the most powerful pistol, the company went out of business. One reason was because they chose to use a weak cartridge. Smith, Wesson, Winchester and Henry were all involved. Of course we know where they ended up. I shoot Cowboy Action Matches and use guns like in the game 2-3 times a month.
