Excellent point. Something I thought about too. That's gotta be the fix right? When it comes to Online, you can respawn your horse. For a fee? And can your horse be impounded by the sheriff?

It drives me nuts when i hear people haven't even played the GTA V story and only care about online. I know it shouldn't but i can't help it! They're missing so much!

Whatever edition comes with a digital download of RDR1 for PS4, that's the one I'm getting.

It does mention in the video that we’ll be able to heal our horses. IF you’ve packed what you need for the job. ie: medicine, bandages. So at least there’s that. I’ll be fully stocked at all times!

Maybe they’re taking a “been there, done that” stance- RDR , GTAV. I’m ok with just being Arthur.

The tale of hunting the deer excited me too. Not the fact that the deer cries and suffers...but yes, that i guess. I don't like the cries of an animal dying but i appreciate the attention to detail and sense of realism. Does this mean all animals or enemies are not simply alive or dead? can you leave a man wounded in battle or defend yourself against a bear or cougar attack by shooting and not killing it? I don't know, but the possibility is intriguing.

I don't need it to be so. Like i said, I hadn't given it any thought until i saw this screenshot. But my guess is that we'll be able to customize him at will. I'm sure there'll be barber shops in town and in GTA we could customize Michael, Trevor and Franklin whenever we liked. Just a bit of fun, but not necessary.

I don't even bother with online until I've finished the story. Hopefully that'll be enough time for things to have settled down a bit.

My father-in-law is totally a gamer. He's 70. Plays PS4 and PC. Uncharted series, Tomb Raider, racing games- That's his thing. It's one of the only things we have in common and so we always end up talking about it at family functions while everyone else rolls their eyes and laughs at us. I remember once when my wife and I were still dating, he called her just to have her pass the phone to me. Needed help with Red Dead! I thought that was so cool.

is this Arthur with a beard? Will Rockstar be giving us customization options like we saw in GTA V ? I assumed we'd be able to change clothes and hats but hadn't considered anything else. How far do you think they'll take it? Hair, scars, boots, holsters, saddles? I guess there's only so much you can do in 1899.

how bout this, just thinking out loud- the switch happens during a confrontation with both characters. John kills Arthur, but you pull the trigger, as John. You kill the character you've been the whole game.

Agreed. I don't remember if you could in RDR1 but i'd like the option to pause the cutscenes. I love them. Immerses me into the story. If given the option to skip, i never do.

I’d love to see RDR1 remastered for PS4 included in a gold edition or something. It has to be at some point right? For kids that may have never played the first one and don’t have a ps3, they’ll want to continue the story and see how it all ends.

How crazy is it that both Rockstar North and San Diego teamed up to do this? And the fact that the map will be bigger than GTA V ?! No jets, no fast cars, just a horse, wagon, boat or train getting you from A to B. The world will feel absolutely enormous.

I totally agree. I played RDR1 with two horses. I had the first one for more then half the game. When collecting sage, a cougar came out of the brush and killed her. It was devistating! It’ll be worse now that a relationship will have to be formed and nurtured! But I look forward to it. Ill also be playing this one slow. I don’t want to miss a thing.

I'd like to see John show up and be the son of a bitch he was rumored to have been. Then watch him turn. Maybe he kills Arthur- i don't see him making it out alive.
