I didn't think it was possible to group all player types onto one server but I am quickly changing my mind. Like others have stated here i have been away for awhile myself and I find the changes so far to be good. I don't feel that I am being hunted all the time so I can stop once in awhile and enjoy my surroundings and the rich world R* has created here. Yes still get killed once in awhile by some turd but not near as much in past. I hope they continue in the direction they are going.

Naw. I have been away for a couple months so I finally saw last night that it is remembering the outfit that I am wearing. I was referring to the default outfit that it gives you when you first start playing. My character is really ugly but not willing to rebuild him so I just put a beard on now lol.

What I prefer to wear seems to have no effect. I gave up a long time ago and just settle with the coverall coated hillbilly pig farmer look it always gives me.

I was gonna go for cowboys vs aliens but after reading this I would have to agree. Zombies

13 crashes in about 4 hrs of gameplay since the new update. I have been gone since the first part of march and just started playing again last week.

Ok here was today's ticket. Game still crashing with the CE-34878-0 error code on PS4. Have cleared cache and no change. Still Crashing Game within 30 minutes. I know that many other people are having same issue since the last download. I also know that it is on your end. I just would like verification that your people are currently working on it. Please check out thread on rdr2.org on this topic before you reply.

LOL nice one Moosh. Maybe I could get them to replace my fish that I have lost during crashes. That is all that I can do during the 10 minutes between them and then sometimes it doesn't remember how many I had in satchel and I lose those too.

Antonia Looks like you got the furthest with this issue. Looks like quite the runaround. Please let us know what they say when they get back to you.

That was my feeling also. If the problem wasn't there before the update for everyone and now its there than it is pretty obvious that it is on there end. They are just telling me to clear cache which I had already done before I submitted ticket. That seems to be the right answer so like the rest of you I will just wait and see. We understand that you are facing issue with CE-34878-0 PS4 Error Code. We will be glad to help you with this. Kindly follow the below steps to clear the cache files present in your console. Clearing the game cache on your console can often resolve odd behavior with the client on consoles. You do not have to worry about losing any progress, as this simply clears some temporary files associated with the game. 1. First exit the game and then press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller. 2. Select Turn Off PS4 and let the PlayStation 4 fully power down for at least 30 seconds. 3. Then restart the PlayStation 4 and launch the game. Hold L1 + R1 while booting up the game. Please do not hesitate to contact us back if you have a concern and we are happy to help. Ok I will try this even though I don't believe this will fix it.

I hate to say this but I had my first three crashes this morning. I thought I had escaped this one but noooo. I will start doing tickets on this along with all of you. Don't think I will mess with anything as of yet because I think it is r*'s problem. Too bad cause it was looking like the game might be fun with all the updates.

Been away for awhile. Looks like the game is becoming playable. Hope this trend continues. Thanks guys for keeping us updated.

I felt the same way for the longest time about this game. And some of these comments are caused by the fixes the did for this problem such as getting bounties for defending or stopping people from stealing pelts or other stuff. We need to be careful for what we ask for. I too want free lobbies and who knows we might get them. It took gtao a long time out of beta before this was available. The free-roam we have now is really R* signature in my opinion. I have really gotten used to things the way they are now and it really isn't that bad. Yes at times its annoying but that's about all. Today I had to sell some herbs cause I do like picking flowers lol. You all know how Valentine is such a peaceful little town so I thought I would just trot my horse right on in there to the doctors office. Gosh I wish we could get a banjo and just play a little toon as we ride along, anyways it was hilarious. I got shot once so I just picked up and now I am walking, slowly on purpose and walked down mainstreet and into doctor. It was like everyone was thinking wth? Coarse I was just wearing my coveralls cause I guess that's the outfit he likes I dunno. The point is just make a joke out of it and after awhile they just give up on you like there is no hope lol. I think we have a long wait until you actually will see the final product here so we really do need to just settle down and ride this out it you want to stay. Do what you can with it and then play something else for awhile and chill.

I really think that this is the beginning of a great game. Think about it a little and you can see R* signature all over the whole free roam thing. Now they are starting to add some meat to those potatoes. It will be a long haul I think but eventually it will be the money machine that gtao has been for them. Patience is the answer here. It took them 8 months or so after full release to start heists and to get the other lobbies running. I will just keep checking back from time to time to see how it progresses but for now I think I will be taking a break from it to do some other new stuff that is out there.

Probably some of best advice given. I would add team up with other like players add friends

I noticed this also. I think you have to close app before it take hold. After that I noticed it worked.

lumper, I feel your pain. I too have experienced the growing pains in this game. Most of the people on this forum are very helpful I have found. They can teach you the basics of this game. As far as getting killed in what ever you are doing is a pretty common thing here and save yourself the bother of trying to figure out why. I too started out the way you are playing with hunting, fishing and herb gathering to make some money and get a few xp while doing it. I have done that for about 3 months and did rather well on the money end but xp is quite a grind. I connect with friends when I can to do story missions and stranger missions. I want to stress on you to make sure and start giving your feedback to R* as much as you can during beta. If you want change now is the time to make it happen. I have been doing this daily to try and get different lobbies in this game like they did in gtao so that what is happening to you now would be easier to bear. I got some good advise on this forum the other day in the strangest way. Some people here told me to quit whining about this problem and perhaps I should not play this if I couldn't hack it. That this is "Wild West" and should expect some shooting going on. That some people want to be "Outlaws for Life" and so on. Well I know I can hack it cause lets face it when you get killed you don't loose much so no big deal so that wasn't the problem. Then it dawned on me that I am playing the game wrong. For the last three days I have been spending about an hour or so a day just hunting down other players and shooting them for no reason what so ever. Just cause I could find them. I noticed it didn't matter much what level they are if you plan it right you can do it. The cheesier the kill the better. Quite fun actually. When they complain I just give em the pat answers that everyone gives me. Be ready to jump servers cause believe me the makes em quite mad lol. My whole reasoning here is to get people to nag R* to make this crap stop. Until it is fixed I see no other way to play this game. You have no choice. Kill or be Killed. I am still low level so I die a lot this way but not really much more than when I was the victim.

I would like to clarify to everyone what my actual feelings are on this game at this point. 1.I really think that free roam should be left intact with as much player interaction as possible and do away with the bounty for defense. Most but not all missions should stay in free roam. If they mess with it too much they will loose those who like it that way. 2. Because this is same engine as gtao they should allow people a choice of lobbies. Solo, Invite only, possey and possey groups. So those that wanted to grind up a little before they play with big boys they could. So that is why I made the statement I am probably gonna shelve this awhile and check back later. Not because it is a bad game or I am a wuss which I probably am somewhat. Just want to clarify who I really am.

ok you want a reply. How is this You are so right Virgil, I can't hack it the pixel deaths are just killing me. I am completely wrong in wanting another type game then what it is. I am really just a snowflake that wants to play pong.

If you like pvp so much why don't you go play battlefield then. Sounds like same logic to me.

Until Friday I think. (TD2 Release) Then it gets shelved until the beta is over I think or until they add different lobbies. And if they don't then the story was great and online isn't. That simple.
