In the future I think that It has the potential to be as good if not better than GTAO. In that game I was able to co-op with friends and pull off end game heists. Those were indeed challenging especially for 2 players on hard for the doomsday heists. I played that game for over 3 yrs without doing any pvp bull. Yes we went in to open sessions periodically to do set ups and to play shoot em up for a hour or so with others but frankly I found that part quite boring. I was a level 400+ by then so I wasn't intimidated easily. I am not saying that others shouldn't be able to play the way they want. Its just that that isn't my game. I think private lobbies would answer that perfectly. They could then leave the free roam just the way it is if so desired. However they should try and get rid of auto-aim. That is 99% of problem. I will invest much more of my time into something like this if they fix the problem and if they don't, oh well. And that is cool, But too me the grind is hard and long enough without someone distracting me from my goal. Maybe after I have all the basics bought and paid for I would enjoy that more with no new content but for now I want to grind $ and xp without interruptions from people I didn't ask for. You guys may be mature enough to not bother people but others not so much. Once is too many times I am not a tolerant person in real life and in gaming.

Hmmm Interesting concept. But no I think people of different play styles would like to enjoy the online part of the game be it a black hat or a white hat and hell even the ass hat. Its just that I usually don't hang with adults that beat up on children for fun like a level 150+ chasing around a level 20+ till they leave the lobby. That too me isn't fun. I agree with you on the bounty except that it is the fault of R* for not allowing invite only lobbies so that people can play with like minded players. It is not the fault of the people complaining that they are tired of having to play with people they don't like. And by the way I am 65 years old and not one who is used to receiving participation awards. That being said, I will be quitting playing solo and only be on when friends are on.

Maybe that is the best way to drive the point home to R* is a mass exodus until they fix this s##t show. I know I am. TD2 is looking like a good place to land for me.

Exactly what I am doing. Shelving this for a later date. If they fix it or it gets tolerable I will think about returning. By the way its going so far that could be awhile. I gave up soloing entirely because I can't be productive enough to make it worth while. It seems I spend most of my time with watching these idiots so now I just play when other friends are on and that is getting harder as they are leaving to other games. They don't like this clown fest either.

Exactly my point. Those that can handle this kind of action will get all they want and those that are just cheap shots will get their asses handed to them. I find that most players that are really good at this sort of thing are usually not the ones doing the cheap shot harassing. Mind you not all but most I believe. So like in real life there are consequences for what you do. And for those that can handle it, well they have something to do besides shoot me. Problem solved.

This was my suggestion to R* today, "Hey R* if you want to keep the free roam only mode the perhaps when players break the law, like killing another player, Then start making your sheriffs and bounty hunters = to level 200. You want to be outlaw then go for it. Please take Auto Aim off."

ok I will give the that. Besides I did get my money out of the story part. It was fantastic so nothing lost really. This is my answer also. But I truly would rather them fix this and make it more enjoyable to play. If they keep loosing player base from stupidity then so be it.

That is a good idea and seems easy fix. Another way so the game stays intact for free roam would be to take away the auto aim. Hideouts and bushwhacks would be harder and you could get away from fight with other players if you wanted by zig zag running or riding so free aim would be harder. Just easy fixes without destroying game.

On this point i couldn't agree with you more. I have submitted to R* quite a few times. Im sure they are just putting them in trash bin as soon as they find out who sent them. It is too bad in my opinion as this game has great potential and maybe they will fix it someday I dunno. I am a big fan of GTAO but in that game at least they let you grind up to a respectable level before they threw you to the wolves so at least it would be fair. Oh well enough rant. Again I apologize I didn't mean to offend, just had a few rough sessions and am freshly p****d off.

Then I am gone. The only problem with that is that you guys loose all your cannon fodder. Then maybe it won't be quite as easy for you. I am just saying that why can't they fix this so everyone wins. They have the ability but won't implement it. If you take offense in what I am saying then I am sorry. I don't have a beef with the way that you want to play why do you have one with mine?

Thanks for advise. Gee why didn't I think of that. I think that all forms of play can be accommodated. There are grivers(back shooters), and there are true pvp(no auto aim) and there are content players. So we should all have to adapt to one form of game play in your book which will not be enough of a player base to keep R* developing. Im sorry but I paid just as much money as you to play this game as advertised which is not what I am receiving at this point. So why the hell do you think that I should be forced to play your way versus mine.

So I was on last night a bit trying to grind up some money and xp via collecting herbs pretty much minding my own business and all was good. I come down out of the hills north of emerald station and veered east in order to avoid a known hazard area of emerald station to go to a fishing hole I like. I saw a blue dot on mini map and went opposite direction but couldn't loose him. Then three more appears from direction I am going to so I changed directions again. By the time I was almost to Blackwater these clowns were still on my ass. I looked at player list and they were from level 200 to 85 and I am 29. So as I was thinking to myself that I am actually paying to be harassed like this I decided to log after blocking them of coarse. The point I am trying to make here is that this is not fun at this point and I am really tired of other people ruining my game for me. I mean come on guys what kind of challenge is that. R* has the coding in place to make the game fun for all by adding invite only sessions but they refuse to implement it. I think all you people should be able to play the game the way you like and that includes those that choose to be back shooters and those like myself that want to play with friends that have the same play styles. I like a good shoot em up as well as the next but to run around in constant chaos is not what I bought into. For me it is time to shelf this one for maybe a later date. I will be playing from time to time when I see friends on but as a solo player I think I am done. Hmm maybe go to Division for awhile dunno.....

Agree'd that could add up much faster. Hope it is for hunting, fishing, herbs and jewelry gathering also. That could really add up nicely.

Lets hope its a bug that they will be fixing. I always like the options so I could use it for fast travel.

If its anywhere near real life it would be an easy shot for my 270. So lets hope that they will adjust that accordingly. I would like to know how far our radar reaches in meters.

It seems to me that you will be able to fish and hunt anywhere except around towns. If a griever shoots you you just have to parley them, and stay where you are. If they hang around you just put them on block list and jump servers. You should be able to go about you business then. Just a thought. Especially if they fix the glitch on loosing pelts off of horse.

Oh LOL, Then the dynamite was cool, my point being that we were attacked with a posse with a level 150 griever up against people of much smaller level isn't even close to fair fight. Playground bullying at its finest. What kind of matchmaking does R* use on these servers. There should be level limits for pvp so at least its somewhat fair.

That is way I feel also. Normally I watch them approach and then just leave session, go do something in rl, then come back in 10 min or so and by then they are gone and I can continue what I was doing. The problem is the loss of stuff on horse. I don't keep that many pelts and carcass because I usually get shot by time I make it to market so why reward the a$$ hole. Last night I was fishing with a friend and having good time way off on our own. Then come these 3 clowns from across the map straight at us. As I look at the players I see a leader of 150 and 2 buddies of 30 and 18. The leader sets off dynamite Im assuming to kill our horses that had some good pelts so we loose them. As I went to the player menu to block all 3 players I was killed 3 times by time got it done. Must have been a real man to beat up 2 low level players till they leave game. R* needs to do something about this. Who the hell thinks that people should pay real money to continue this circus full of clowns.

I am low level so not much chance against slippery bastard. I was getting it handed to me pretty bad. I decided to grab my knife and zig zag run straight at them. I got the take down 3 times but was overpowered and lost the fight. Maybe with rope instead of knife would have done it. I will try that next time.

I am a co-op player and never cheap shot another player. Any of you who play this sort of game style I want to thank you for your service. Feel free to look in on me anytime, I usually try to see who is near me for future reference but I don't randomly shoot other peeps.
