Curious to see what the OP has done about this I suppose I should have reported this but I just shrugged it off as a still in Beta thing and moved on, after all I was bump'ed up to Lvl 100. Seem's like compensation enough to me for a loss of a few buck's.

it's almost impossible to be succesfull on a mission of your own. Early stage's YES it is but once you get decent gun's an ammo and some upgraded ability card's not so hard, has been my experience. So stick at it dude if solo play is your style you will soon see the cowardly red dot's high tailing out of your way once they get a taste of thing's like incendiary buckshot and explosive bullet's. The Slippery Bastard card I found especially handy when useing any of the shotgun's.

Or did they ? Half way through Lvl 99 I had $1268 joined Teddy Brown mission and after it had $998, went to Armidillo fast travel to Blackwater, then Ping Lvl 100 and $1026. Very odd, I suppose it's another of those it's still in Beta thing's.

I had one today while hunting in the Great Plains rode up behind me and shot me. I messaged him/her asking why he/she did it got a message back saying to come and fight him/her in Valintine, I declined saying I dont play with Griefer's and know a trap when I see it, then a few minutes later he/she turned up again in a posse I gave there leader a belly full of expolsive slug and when he respawned he was hightailing it out of the area and the posse just blinked out. Also lets not forget most of them are most likely just kid's who are not playing the game but playing with the game as they are already bored with it but because of all the pleading they did to get Mummy/Daddy to buy it for them feel they have to be seen to be in game, and soon they will move on to the next game and be long gone before all the good content that's coming for proper player's to enjoy launch's. Griefer's, Gankers, D**khead's or Whole Ass'es call them what you want, there not in it for the long term, so please chill and wait them out.

How long did it take you to gather all the supplies for your outfit?  I was level 76 when I made the outfit I already had most of the greens as my outfit's all have some green in them really only had to buy the shirt and boot's. The Mad Plan of it was "Make Like a Bush" ie as close to camoflage as I could make it. I'm gonna try this! Please let us know how you get on. What I do. Send my Hoss away,stay low, move slow in a ziz zag pattern towards the herd, when spotted stay still till I'v been checked out to not spook them. Basically behave as they do. Hopefully at somtime R* will give us the Trapper and we will be able to make Hunting Outfit's from Animal skin's. Also was Camoflage available at this time in history ?

Make sure to cover your face with bandana as this apperears to also help. Have you tried using the scent cover? Cannot find it in online game unable to buy or craft.

Just for the fun of it I made a outfit for hunting useing the drabist green's available Pants,Shirt,Vest,Jacket,Boot's,Bandana and Flat Cap all green and now when stalking I can get right in to the middle of a herd of critter's even tried a knife kill but the swish sound when pulling it out spooked the herd of Pronghorn I had stalked. Is this an in game thing or have I just discovered how to hunt properley.

OK dragging it out for XP I was not aware of thanks for letting me know, not sure if that is a good idea though. More commuication, I agree not one of the lingerers I have encountred bothered to explain that was what they were doing so I wonder if that is really there intention. Since my orignal post I have continued to experince Ml'rs & Drpot's on story missions.

Malingerers and Dropouts in story missions. The last 3 times I have been offered the Bob Crawfish mission we have been unable to complete it due to one player not chasing the gang allowing one of them to escape. The last time I was offered the Fort Mercer mission two dropped out as soon as the battle started and the third just hung around the Marshal's camp and did nothing to help so I had no choice but to dropout of the mission myself. New funtimes for griefers I suppose. Also noted these players have all been >100 rank

Re Griefers lets not get all upset about them they will all soon lose intrest and move on to the next game Mummy lets them have, it's just a matter of time they will be gone and we will still be here

I was in Rhodes where a posse leader was lurking around the Butcher and his buddies were scattered around outside town, and sure enough as soon as I was in range he griefed me and every time I respawned it was close to where one of his buddies was lurking, they seemed to know where the spawn points are and the verbal abuse they gave out was simply vile and disgusting.

I also play in solo but have created a permenant possee "The Celtic Wildcats" I did try it as public but gave up due to idiot murder hobo's so made it invite only, I am on xbox in the UK and my gamertag is Weepiercomet121 so if you want to try the possee thing without griefing and you see me out there message me and I will send you an invite. RedDead 2 is the first game I have ever played online and so it has been fun and I look forward to all the upcoming content.

Title says it all. When I place my camp I place it where I want it placed, then it gets moved for no reason, please stop doing that. STOP MOVING MY CAMP !!!!
