  1. what do you mean? I’ve had markers on mine so long I can’t even remember why I put them there... my one wish is that I could label them...
  2. If they’re in minimap range, they’re a threat.... if they’re in minimap range and moving quickly in my general direction they’re dead... If they’re in minimap range and moving cautiously around my blip they’re either trying to avoid conflict or are tricking me and I’ll see a ‘so and so shot you with a whatever’ reload screen. who they are, well, I could care less. I’ll learn their gamer tag soon enough if it’s applicable... The liquor... well, ThAt is much more important to a good time than some auxiliary second device app... a man only has so many hands...
  3. I found the app even more difficult to manage with the putting down my control and taking my eyes of the screen... as for who the blips are... well I could care less: either they’re a threat to me or they’re not.... I also found it easier to watch the radar than to have my eyes on my phone...
  4. Yeah... you kind of have to really love the variants to actually use them.... they really should make them upgradable.
  5. I like how it looks... but can’t upgrade that variant... Not that shotguns desperately need the upgrades, but I’m glad I didn’t spend money to buy it.
  6. Yeah... I thought I mentioned that. Maybe worded it badly lol As for the app map, we’ll I can live without it now that I don’t have to watch the whole game map to keep tabs on all the blips
  7. This time last year, all we had to do was about half the story missions, a few gang hideouts, and hunting/fishing for the butcher... when you could do Any of that without a possie locking onto your dog from the other side of the map and tying you up in an hour long gunfight for no reason...
  8. I think you have to be Metal Gear level of stealthy to pull it off... In this game I tend to be more charge in guns blazing... But since blowing them up works I just go with that.
  9. Well, I wouldn’t say they didn’t care (see past discussions of loading 5 rounds in your six shooter for just one example). That being said, this is a game and it should have a little more of that Hollywood flair...
  10. Yes, there are parts of realism in this game you would never expect. Then other parts are right out there...
  11. I know... Just bugging you a little... While still pointing out there can be a time and place to safely learn these little tricks if it’s up your alley for whatever reason... But I’ll say it again, don’t try this at home unless you want to shoot your own toe off... or be this guy...
  12. Now that I think of it, Why do we even buy mash? I’m no stranger to making a little of my own tax free beverages (for personal use... not as a business) and I’ve never bought mash... I’ve bought grains or fruit, sugar, yeast... But I always make my own mash out of it... (ok, I’m just nitpicking here. Sorry guys)...
  13. Well, you cannot have your horse follow, but you can dismiss your horse, call the hunting wagon, put stuff into it, dismiss the wagon and call your horse again.... I’m pretty sure your stuff should be in there when you call it back from the stable... what you experienced I’m not so sure... probably because you changed servers and reloaded. Sounds like a camp glitch got you.
  14. Fun fact... Arnold was using a customized 12 gauge 1887 Winchester shotgun (not a repeater). Well, I am an ex military small arms instructor and a current civilian owner and (safe) user of firearms... Safety is number one... that being said, there are times and places to safely practice trick shooting (with proper instruction) should you so desire... How do you think those old guys doing things like outshooting an AR15 with a lever gun, fast drawing a six shooter and popping two balloons in less than a second or putting six shots Center of mass one handed with a single action faster than a 9mm semiautomatic manage to learn these things? That being said, a YouTube video isn’t proper instruction and your back yard shooting gallery isn’t the safe place... It would be cool for the video games, but don’t try this at home kids LOL.
  15. Just eat cooked turkey and put on that holiday weight...
  16. At least I’m not the only one running around with an Evans... I like my LeMatte, but I’m trying out a pair of navy revolvers for the next while... So far I’m liking them.
  17. I don’t know about that... Where I come from people with free time and extra money specifically spend most of the winter in the desert just to get away from the snow....
  18. This right here is why I tend to avoid PC gaming.
  19. That’s the good thing about chronic griefers... the get bored easily and move onto the next thing. Christmas is almost here so they’ll all be onto the next handful of games daddy bought them before long... we’ll see them again for a week or two when something new comes along.
  20. well, I’ve been using them up here and there. Maybe one day if I ever reach the mystery upper limit I’ll complain, but honestly I don’t mind the free fast travel when I’m in a hurry. Or the free gun component I didn’t realize I had until I got into the navy revolvers.... if more story missions come out that are honour dependant I’m sure I’ll appreciate not having to waste an hour shooting up towns... though there are ones I don’t ever see a need for and I’d slate for deletion if space ever does become an issue. I’m just not sure it’s worth complaining about at this point.
  21. When you can upgrade and make the better moonshine it gets better
  22. Yeah... it gets cold and your cores drain.... eat cooked meat from whatever critter you come across to maintain... being cold might make you fat (if you don’t dress warm enough) but it’s not the end of the world.
  23. I haven’t noticed any (aside from a random headshot and run away from some guy). Once I got my second navy revolver I tested them out by going on a little murder spree in armadillo, so I might have been red (I murdered a few tow folks and sherif posies). But even surrounded by other players and on a random rampage I wasn’t shot at (I was kind of hoping for an excuse to try them on a player LOL)
  24. For what it’s worth... my camp spawned (not in tall trees wheee I left it. But it was full there from what I could tell). I decided to work through a backlog of treasure maps as I wanted a second Navy Revolver. I travelled all over the map by horse, hunting away. I got two elk, multiple whitetail, multiple sheep, a pack of coyotes, a fox, various critters... enough to fill cripps up (I’d been ignoring him lately). The lowest number of players I observed on the server was 19. Then again, I might be a bad example as I very rarely noticed the animals spawning less...
  25. yeah, the first bit sucks... I’ve delivered a batch with just one broken bottle and lost about $1.50... you need to do other work just to find your way through the first bit. If it does get better, and I’m sure the glitches will get ironed out.
