  1. I got a little angry actually with the comments they made, and quite frankly thought whatta bunch of unappreciative f*cks While i know everybody is entitled to their own tastes and opinions, if you hold stupid ones and you have no taste, go play call of duty. and YEAH, i'm sure the peeps in charge were giving the people strict instructions so as not to reveal too much- so if you find roaming around a beautiful world on an awesome beast 'boring', you need to go. and go now. hahah I'm still a bit angry.
  2. The moment we had another release date, i deliberated booking some time off work to get REAL into the game and become fully immersed. If you're anything like me, you'll be busy exploring as much of the world as possible that's open to you from the off, maybe get real good at hunting and providing for camp and of course building the relationship between me and my ride. I have booked a whole week off work since i'm not going away this year so ill be ordering in, getting fat and getting no sleep! haha CANNOT FRICKIN WAIT!! This will also prove to be the last week i get to be totally selfish and ditch my social life and forget that i'm getting my first house with my other half hope my moving date doesn't clash with the release date hahahaha
  3. I personally love the bounty hunter missions, makes me feel like a right bad-ass haha. I always like to be sneaky and then let rip, snatching the bounty alive. I think its spot on what Debbo89 said, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for Arthur to be doing this from the law perspective, but there may be missions very similar to bounty hunting given by Dutch or another well respected member of the gang to hunt down people who have wronged the group, or those that are standing in the way of Dutch's plans for the group. That'd be really fun and surely build trust with Dutch ad the group. It's gunna be interesting to see if you have a 'choice' in these sorts of things or whether they'll be part of the main story. I think they'd probably be 'side' missions though, that may affect the story telling. for instance, dutch could give you a side mission to go get intel on a bank the groups planning to rob, before the actual heist. It'd be cool to have the option to walk in all guns blazing and not know details, or have the choice of going on an extra mission to find out info before the hesit. This could also weild benefits and extra goodies as youve put more work into the job.
  4. corpse wall? build a dam with cowboy corpses hehe
  5. My god i didn't think anyone went to Wolverhampton Benjo haha! What cool dudes we are!! Anyone else feeling sick with excitement now! that countdown marker is playing with me big time!!! ahhhhhhh
  6. Thanks all, that helps. I kinda dont want the war horse or the pack though, urghh, just wanted to put in the hours with progressing with my horse. Hopefully there might be a way to turn off the bonus, or it be an option if you want to use it.
  7. Wondered if someone could just clarify for me a few things about the preorder bonuses? I have had my red dead 2 preordered from Amazon Marketplace for months on end. Pretty much as soon as it was up on Amazon for preorder I did it. Does that mean I'll get this war horse and bandit pack thing? Or is that if you preorder in some other way (digitally)? Thanks guys. X
  8. I used to, and still do, quite quite often, lasso and hog tie ***** from Thieves Landing and pop then just on the edge of a river embankment and watch them roll off and drown. Now that's cold. And weird I know.
  9. Cmcc - Im from the UK, studied in a small town called Wolverhampton in the West Midlands.
  10. Bonnie McFarlane, Landan Ricketts (Prob my most fave)
  11. It'd be cool to go underground in mines i reckon - Mining was still very much a thing for when the game was set so it'd certainly fit into the atmosphere and period of the game. Maybe they could closely incorporate it with something a little horror or spooky/and or treasure?
  12. The cult horror thing sounds soooo good- scares the bejesus out of me too! A bigger better story alike the stranger task in RDR1 where the freaky guy in the hills is eating people would be good! watched this awesome western/horror the other day called Bone Tomahawk and it was so gruesome at the end- Hill people man!!
  13. I always loved the Bolt Action and Buffalo Rifle Good sounds, Lovely to see them go down on first hit!
  14. Really interesting topic; I studied Philosophy at Uni so this naturally tugged at my interests in morality and ethics.. I tended to play as honourably as i could, only killing when i had to, but sometimes while free roaming a little edge seeped in and i'd blow the head of a passer by just because i could. I think its human nature to experiment with morals in games. After all, if its available, isn't everyone going to experiment with what feels 'Right' to them. I get more out of helping strangers than killing for no reason. I spend a lot of time trying to immerse myself in the atmosphere of the game so i'm naturally let by whats going on around me- for example in RDR any time spent in Thieves Landing i would generally wreak havoc because even if you're just minding your own business some good for nothing will pull their gun on you. So yeah, i think go with the flow and enjoy it- I aim to play as Arthur's personal morals lead me- if i see a change in his personality and lean to redemption, i will play as such.
  15. yeah it scares the shit out of me to think that all that time and patience building a strong bond with your horse and the possibility of having it shot or fly off a cliff..i'd be savage! haha still, its going to make the game so much more interesting
  16. DEFINITELY buying this NOW! didn't even know you could get it on LP! that's amazing! So looking forward to hearing the new theme/in game music
  17. Hi people, new to this community and so excited about RDR2! (Like, so much so i cannot stop thinking about it, and have booked 11 days off work immerse myself ha-ha) I've been watching the many YouTube channels whereby i learnt that rdr2 will see Arthur having to prepare more for the gunfights ahead. More specifically, that your guns and weaponry will be mounted on your trusty horse. If your horse gets spooked from gun shots etc, it may well ride off with the rifle you were gonna equip!? Also, might it be a tad frustrating to constantly forward plan for each mission, not knowing what exactly the best thing to equip is yet? These are all things i'm super glad they've done as i think it'll make the game much more immersive and realistic but i do have my fears it'll become a bit of a gripe. Still, it'll be blissfully refreshing and i cant wait for all the great changes we'll see! Roll on Oct! on the countdown!
