So I have tested it and I'm sorry to say this is absolutely a programming restriction. I specifically tried to pick the Exotics out of order and powerpyx has an excellent map, I was able to pick 9 moccasin flowers before finishing the first Quest I went to literally every spawn point and no more than nine would appear I was able to collect more than 15 of the needed orchids for the first Quest. then I completed the first Quest which unlock the second Quest requiring 10 of moccasin orchids, which were then there at the exact locations I had checked previously. It will not surprise me if I have to dump my Satchel before obtaining the second hunting requests Just so you know the only reason I'm so critical as I am myself a programmer so I'm not just talkin off the wall here. When I play a game I test the limits of the programming. As does an entire gaming class. As a programmer I try to make those limits as wide-ranging and as least obvious as possible. Because nobody wants to be told they can't do something and a lot of people want to complete all of the side quests before they even touch the main quest, I am one of those people. I think it's much more enjoyable to play the game without being told what to do and how to do it

Have you found the memorial to Arthur Morgan as a donor? Not the grave... I just did I was thinking maybe Blackwater had a vampire as well or maybe once you have the ornate dagger you can read it? Just to guess

I was open to and respectful of any point that talks about the programming or aspects of the game and I believe I even conceded a few points on some of my complaints, what I did not expect or appreciate was being told I shouldn't have tried the things that I tried or that nobody would want to do that because clearly people did or at least one person did( I didn't directly respond to those points because I did not foresee that path going civilly) . I know there are other people who agree with me as evident in other posts. And I wanted to have an area where we could discuss those issues I respected your lack of Desire to make any points, but there's a big difference between making a point and telling me my point is wrong which seems to be the argument of 2019. The Original Point which foxtrot just addressed was the difference between an open and big interactive game. Disagreeing with me is fine. I really do love this game it's not a fanboy card or an attempt to delegitimize actual arguments, but I can love something and still have problems with it... Lumper disagreed with me he just also saw my point I'm not looking just for reinforcements

I encountered this exact same frustration some aspects of the game are so real and then some aspects are completely freaking ridiculous and the fast travels one of the slowest things I've ever done I made a post about this call Big World not open world for the exact reason you're mentioning of the one thing has to lead to another! I just wanted to go around and Hunt everything, the best way I found to do this especially alligators is two used improved arrows which you can craft, before you get the bigger Satchel I recommend you collect flight feathers and focus on making improved arrows because that is the best way I found to get three stars on any animal if you get them with one hit

Can somebody please tell me where I can sell my exotic stuff like gator eggs! They say the nice parts of town I have yet to find anybody! Disregard I didn't realize there was only one... time activated

I see your point but I contest that is too easy of a bug to fix... I like I said I'm about to try it first and I will let you know in a couple hours how it goes And here's my personal test I will also be doing it with the Exotic switch I have a few extra of if it happens with a hunting and not the Exotics then it's a bug...

I've read that you can fix the hunting request glitch by clearing your inventory and waiting a day, I'm going to be testing this glitch firsthand because I am riddled with perfect carcasses and I have absolutely no intention of dropping them once I find Robin... I don't necessarily consider this a glitch as much as a programming restriction like several others because if it happens every time and then they programmed it on purpose... it would not be the first!

I was going to post about a glitch but I was able to correct it on my own eventually so I I'm making this red specifically supposed ways you fixed a glitch so that other people can try the same thing. Disclaimer: the most common cause of glitches is running your game constantly without saving and activating the exit Game button. Try this before you even consider it a glitch, games aren't meant to be run 24/7 24 days in a row... especially a massive interactive game like this there's just too much you need to clear the cache! Cigarette card glitch: I mailed all of the cigarette card sets but then it would not complete the quest and it would not check the box for all sets sent even though I had 14 of 14 (or whatever) it went away on its own once I received an invitation from gills. So my suggestion is that if you fail to get a completion notice then wait until you complete another request

I wasn't advocating using pure Dead Eye on that particular location I just mixed the posts That being said however I find no greater enjoyment then shooting 15 enemies dead in a single second...

So I found a good place for you to practice covering killing with John, I just did Fort Mercer and it is a great run gun and hide location with only around 10:15 enemies, if you're using PS4 it's the R1 button to mark Dead Eye targets

So I have been all over new Austin and I have not found a single one of the ones that is exclusive oh, and I am stuck on the herbalist challenge because of it... are there any known spots for the Texas herbs? (black currant for example)

So I checked this post for the robins and I really can't wait to check annesburg as far as Oreos go if anybody's having a problem finding Orioles there are about 100,000 of them in new Austin LOL pretty much every flock of small birds is that, still hunting my Robin I've only seen one in the entire game! Lucky for me he was three star and after I shot him he was a good carcass...

I was lucky enough not to hit that glitch and that would frustrate me to no end! I am worried that a different glitch will keep me from the hundred percent Mark. That exact thing happened to me while I was playing a Far Cry I got every little thing and then I beat the game with like nine out of 10 of something which then stop spawning ... I was Furious, I was left with only two options in my opinion, I refuse to play through it again but luckily I didn't smash my disc with a hammer the way I wanted to so option 3 was just bitter disappointment

I lost all investment first playthrough (which I'm still in) when I realized what was going to happen. I was able to maintain a good save point I think in chapter 3 or 4. As soon as I hit that part I realized that I was going to have to replay the game with a completely different mindset but I wanted to hit a hundred percent first.

So I actually don't remember this mission that everyone was talking about LOL but I was going to ask when I saw the legendary fish post in the other forum ... when I replay to the improve the experience I will make special note of that... I am a notorious murderer though so I do have problems "not doing anything stupid" ha!

You don't suck you're just a beginner and you're clearly getting better. Something's the game did not outline for me (they tell you you unlock it but they don't tell you how to do it) I had to figure out for myself much much later was that with a high Deadeye level there's a button you push to mark your opponents. I always have thyme big game meat to bolster my core and then before I kill 20 guys I'll drink snake oil. Then activate your dead eye and once you're cursor is on their heads click the button, once there is an x on every one of their heads pull the trigger, and then watch all 20 people hit the ground. Did eye is in slow mo so you should be able to practice this until you get good it also helps to practice with birds I actually played through the entire game without using this ability because I couldn't figure out how to do it and it was frustrating because I unlocked it in chapter 2, once I started using it though it made the game simple

Lumper I can't thank you enough for taking the time of day to critically view a critique, I actually love the game and I spent over two and a half hours playing my only problems with the word ones that I mentioned and that is my exact problem because there were specific things that I wanted to do that I couldn't do no matter what I tried I was even able to steal a train and loaded up with animals until they de spawned them on me. The game also has completely changed my brain because now any time I see a bird in real life I want to aim at it lol. I have learned that you were correct that this was the wrong place the post this, because I have found that these fans are too Rah rah cheerleaders, I specifically didn't want to post it anywhere else because I didn't want critics to take my post and run with it I actually wanted to talk about it with people who enjoyed the game but obviously people can't have any negatives with their 100% positive! The only thing that I have learned from this post is that I do not play like other people as I have been repeatedly told quote you wouldn't want to do that or you wouldn't want to do that or you wouldn't want to do that that's dumb meanwhile I never even considered feeding somebody to win alligator or putting somebody on the train tracks until I saw a different post. Not Everybody Plays the same and I saw this may be a forum for that it clearly was not.

Can you say the loot or study feature hasn't vanished on you? That's what I mean by finicky...it everybody pushes the wrong button though. My wife does constantly! She spends more time looking at the controller than the tv!

Dead people don't have any Pride either I think you have a good strategy! I'm an experienced gamer and I have Killed My Horse by accident numerous times come early on I also punch the horse and got kicked in the face and died immediately! Don't be ashamed of that the buttons and button activations in this game can be quite finicky for everybody
