Same exact thing happened to me, but when I closed application and re-launched the game, it went back to normal and loaded fine. Maybe just keep on opening and closing application until you get it to load? I don't have a "legitimate" fix for this issue, but hey, trying different things couldn't hurt.

I have to disagree about the "entire" season being a joke. I actually really liked the ending, except for the fact Jon snow didn't take the throne and Bran the "broken" did and so much big changes. Yeah it felt rushed a bit, but it really wasn't. This show has been going on for what? 8 years? It's been a good ride, but I'm glad we can finally wrap up the story. Season 8 has some very good episodes, such as the "The Long Night" which includes one of the biggest and best battle scenes I had ever seen on TV. Like come on the entire episode was intense from start to finish, and an absolute master piece. This show delivered for me, so I guess that's all that matters 🤷‍♀️

UPDATE: So I just made a ticket to R* about 2 days ago about the frame rate drop issue, and they marked my ticket as "Resolved" and status as "closed" with no response. Well, I just re-opened a new ticket. Hopefully I can annoy them enough to fix the problem

Fair enough, not everyone has interest in that kind of genre. Some may find the story boring, but that's okay everyone doesn't have the same feelings towards a show. I personally LOVE the story. Agreed. Once the story is set and stone and release on TV...That's pretty much it in my book. You can't change the story anyways now, it's a little to late for all that noise. Very true. I actually enjoyed the ending, I just disagreed with a few small things.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the Playstation 5. Maybe Red Dead Online will be much more smooth and 10x better on the new platform than the PS4. Kind of like how GTA 5 was okay on the PS3, but was SOOOOO much improved on the PS4 platform. As for as games go, my hype drive has settled down a bit. I'm definitely open to try new games, but for the most part after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, I haven't been really hyped about anything in particular. Maybe I'll give that new Star Wars game a go, who knows? 🤷‍♀️

I completely agree with you here! I haven't been on Red Dead Online until it left Beta which explains my very low level 15 rank - LOL. I think this game is going to get better with time, it's still fairly new, the Beta was a good 6 months I believe.

Yes, keep making support tickets because it lets your voice get heard about the issue. I've been doing the same, have to keep reporting until they fix it!

Believe it or not, I was actually going to college for Software Developer until I discovered welding and all of the cool stuff you can do. Also, I'm really big into cars and stuff like that so Welding plays a big role in that regard.

Never encountered something like that, but I'm sure it's very annoying. Definitely report this to Rockstar and maybe someone can share a workaround?

I'm having the exact same issue! Some stranger missions aren't working and the accept is grayed out. Also, sometimes when I go to the stranger mission icon the person isn't even there. Also, the new missions don't appear anymore. I tried restarting the game multiple times and trying to find a work around. I've also noticed the lobbies being very small, almost like I can't even find anyone. Maybe something is buggy with the server or something.

This forum has came a long way to say the least. I remember when I first joined the site weeks before the game even came out and we were all talking about the game a lot and getting super hyped which was so fun. Once most of us had the actual game on pre-download we were all counting down and sharing our experience on the forum, talking about the story with everyone and giving each other advice. It was truly so much fun, and glad those memories will be history. Not sure if @Benjo will ever come back to the forum, but man we sure had a great time discussing the ending and what we thought of the game. I definitely remember @Kean_1 being there and @Lonestar. It was truly a fun experience and I can't wait to make more memories along the way!

Yeah the frame drop issue also happens in story mode, and online as well. I believe the frame rate drops so much because there's a lot of textures, motion capture, details that our consoles get strained and can't really keep up as our consoles hardware is pretty outdated to today's gaming standards because GPUs and CPUs always get better all the time. I think when the PS5 comes out, and Red Dead Online is compatible with it, I think the game will run so much smoother. Just like GTA 5 was laggy on PS3 and was so much better on PS4.

I can't remember, do you know if GTA had the same issues when it was released? It's been a while I can't remember.

No but I need to exercise. Ever since I left high school I blew up like a house because I wasn't in sports anymore. Plus, bad eating habits, genetics plays a part, and just being lazy for the most part.

I've had this happen to me once, I just closed application and restarted and it went away.
