You mean people who use mods online? It doesn't make a difference if they do it through a game purchased on Steam or through Rockstar, both run on the same launcher. Just keep reporting them. They are cracking down on people using mods and hacks online.

Yeah they have the key mapping in the section but simply telling you what does what while playing the game would be handy. So many PC and Console games do this by default.

Yeah may as well just stick to console for the time being since most issues have been fixed there. When the game is on Steam, I would imagine the bulk of the problems will be fixed. Likely why they have yet to announce it or even put it in the marketplace.

From my experience and what I have read, they usually respond within 48 hours but given that they are getting overloaded with reports and complaints, I would give it at least 5 days to a week. It can't hurt to message them again though at this point.

I wouldn't mind a wagon full of wenches online. It would make things a lot more interesting online. I will just leave my comment there.

What baffles me is that they didn't actually have a controls list anywhere. I mean it is a console game ported to the PC, they have to figure there would be some confusion. I can't even find a list of controls online anywhere.

I keep checking to see if they put the game on Steam yet, still nothing. I am thinking because of the issues they may not release it till near the end of the month in December, possible not even till January, we will see. I'm not bothered. Did you get a refund? Is this the flat rate for all games? I mean that is a HUGE chunk of money.

I am guessing it is in part to keep people on their own launcher but there has to be more to it than that. With the issues I have been having as well as everyone else, I am thinking maybe they wanted a month to fix the problems before the game comes out for Steam. It is far easier to get your money back if you find the game is having too many issues on Steam vs buying it through the Rockstar launcher. Thoughts?

I would keep on Rockstar about the issues you are having. Just keep messaging them. They seem to not respond to everything but I would imagine they are at least reading everything and tracking the issues the game is having. Hopefully they will get things fixed sooner than later.

Have you check into what is set for your keyboard by default? Go into the settings on the main title menu and then go to key mapping. It should show you what it is set to.

As mentioned, the game will run but you will have to turn down the graphics settings. The game is quite demanding. If you have not purchased it already and you are not sure about it being able to run, you can wait for the Steam release in December. They will refund you if the game doesn't run properly on your computer.

Do what it says and contact them first. After that, you can try signing out and in again to your account. Also check to see if your security software is blocking the game. Some will and you will have to manually allow it.

I don't think pre-ordering the game has much to do with auto-aim. From my understanding, if you are online some servers may have it turned off depending on the host. Try hopping on a different server.

Are you using a controller? For PlayStation 4 controllers, tap on the Touch Pad to toggle between first-person and third-person perspectives. On Xbox One controllers, tap on the View Button for the same result. If you are using a keyboard, check your settings menu to see what key is set to function for this.

I don't think a game could ever be too realistic. We have come a long way with gaming but there is just too much to factor in. I can bet in another 15 years when VR takes off in a big way and becomes the norm, we will not be able to tell the difference. Scary to think about.

Maybe there were workarounds for it then. I just watched other people stream what they were doing and got a kick out of it.

I have had this happen with other games as well so it makes sense for Rockstar to have a priority launch if you have both launchers installed.

Interesting. So they did change something from the first game to the second. I really liked how it handled either way. I guess I will see how it works on PC in just 6 days!

Weren't GTA V mods able to be run online? I could have sworn this was the case but like I mentioned. I didn't play the game so I could have just misunderstood what I was watching.

Most gaming platforms like this don't allow it but from what I have read, you can do the reverse. You will be able to see all your states from Steam to Rockstar. They just likely won't be handled the other way around.

I feel like this is going to be overkill for what it is. I get the hype and everything but I am comfortable with what I already have and honestly don't have any intentions on throwing any money at Google.

Glad to hear it! I mean I am fine with younger folks but I honestly always gotten along better and had more in common with people older than me, even in my teens and 20s. What would happen if Salami Sister Sally joined and couldn't use her name but was forced to add a 1 at the end? I would feel terrible!

Is this more of an issue for console gaming or PC gaming ?? Because I didn't even know about it. I mean, I know there are women on Twitch who use their looks in the gaming genre to make a living. I am not going to hate on that either, if I was a hot lady I would probably do the same. No one want to watch my chubby, near middle aged, balding self play games and pay me for it. lol
