Cheating is the equivalent of buying a billboard next to the freeway and declaring to the public at large that "I suck, and cannot hang with the average player. I need a competitive advantage to be good at something!" On 10/10/2018 at 1:45 PM, Truth said: just means that you're not good enough to play a fair game. Exactly. That'd be like me walking up to the counter of my local apothecary and asking for sildenafil citrate to gain a competitive advantage. The difference here, is that you aren't using it to gain a competitive advantage or to troll other players. BIG difference. I can't speak for others, but when I have the opportunity to game with friends, both cooperatively and competitively, it enhances the experience exponentially. The online component of games like RDRO, The Division, or GTAO have an allure that's essentially a smaller scale version of an MMORPG or an ARPG, especially with the level of detail in the case of RDR2. Building a posse/crew/gang online and having fun together can be a very rewarding experience among like-minded individuals. 2 1

BIG difference. .......yeah, but thought I should mention it anyway. I didn't want to sound like a hypocrite but you're right, I'm really only using it for my own advantage and not over others. I only play solo or on rare occasions, with friends. To be honest, even at level 200+ and the arsenal I have, I still don't stand a chance against griefers as they know all the tricks of trolling. What's funny though is when people start getting matchmade to my session (still happens sometimes even with the MTU trick), I noticed folks tend to leave me alone unless they are at my level or above. .....or if it's just a couple of us in the session together. I can usually tell right away if they're going to be a problem though. 1

I don't really see a problem with that, but understand why you got banned lol It's the cheats that screw over other players that piss me off. You were just taking a shortcut. Oh I absolutely deserved it too but I do agree with you, the worst ones are the ones that take away from the game for other players. I was just making it more enjoyable for myself... getting the best apartment, cars, etc.
