Red Dead pre download deleted?

So i pre downloaded red dead 2 and came back and the next time i logged in it had disappeared. I redownloaded it and everything was fine but has this happened to anyone else?

ya. had to watch netflix in 480p for 4 hours while it redownloaded

It happened to a couple friends of mine. They ended up calling support and were able to redownload it.

Had the same problem. So pissed, it took forever to download on my internet.

Not heard of it happening to anyone I know either ... just the three spooky people that materialized all at the same time with the same issue ...

Hate to say I don't believe these guys but all four joined with just a few minutes of each other (8:21, 8:24, 8:25 and 8:33 pm).  .......just like you pointed out @CMcC.  I also haven't heard anyone else around here (or elsewhere) bring up this issue that has a history on the site, etc. that I feel I can trust as a source.

Paint me skeptical unless we start hearing from reputable / official sources.

What happens if your disk breaks or you lose it? Or you have a house fire? With digital you can just get another console and redownload it. Physical you have to buy it again.

I like physical copies, but there is just a little more benefits with the digital copies over the physical.
