Rdr2 graphics blurry PS4 Pro

i know that consoles are way under powered.. but are a bunch of games that looks great on ps4 pro..

It's not just you.  The dynamic lighting in the second picture is far superior.  Everything in the first one is flat light.

Don't see any blur (except for the first one which appears to be fog, not blur).

First one is fog.

Second one is fog with a little blur

Third is a cutscene where they made what's her face out of focus

Fourth looks like shitty lighting or bad settings

fifth and sixth are just dark...

Signed up to this forum just to chime in as well. I've tried contacting R* support several times and got nowhere. They wouldn't acknowledge the issue of blurry visuals, and tried to tell me there was probably something wrong with the way my system was hooked up (even though every other game looks great). I have since tried even further to get a response from someone who could tell me that it was on their radar and that they are at least aware of the issue. It seems they are just ignoring my messages. So my question is; Where else can we make enough noise about it to where they have to take notice?

I'm pretty sure they just don't care, but there has to be some way to illicit a response.

Because those are all pre-programmed scenes (except for maybe the last one) and completely different games with completely different programmers...

A cutscene graphic is not going to be the same as regular gameplay. Show me some examples of people actually playing these games and I'd probably agree.

I'm not saying there isn't a problem (I clearly admitted that 1 page back) I'm saying those examples look just like they do on my xbox.

leave the man alone.. he plays on xbox one.. that version look exactly like ps4 pro.. 
worse on ps4 pro.. he doesn't acknowledge the issue.. because he see's no difference between xbone & ps4 pro

Those look pretty much the same to me other than the lighting...

anyway.. the one version looks better than ps4 pro.. 
the one x looks like a pc compared with other consoles
rockstar ****ed this up.. and 99% will not fix this.. 
so enjoy the blurry mess

@lonley22 I do see it a little bit in the grass now, but it's a very slight difference that I probably wouldn't notice while playing. That first example (that I said was blurry as ****) would be horrible to play with though. If THAT is what you're seeing, then I completely understand you're frustration. The rest don't really look too bad, but I still totally understand the complaint.

That comparison shot helped a lot, so thanks for that. You're right though, it looks more like my regular xbox than the image taken from the x.

Hi guys, why dont you all write to Games Radar, the editor is called Dan Dawkins,previously of the CVG games site, who used to do the Youtube show for CVG  called GTA5 O colock. when GTA5 was in development he was one of the only games journalists to get a sneek peek of the game and a sit down with Leslie Benzie (even though Benzies has since departed) but it would be worth writing to Dawkins  and at least asking.

Assassins Creed Odyssey is one of the best looking and crispest game on the ps4 pro. The overall performance in big cities is overwhelming me. No stuttering since the last update in the biggest cities.

I can post screenshots of my version and red dead redemption 2 tomorrow.

Been following this topic for a while now and i keep seeing boost mode show up, why?

Boost mode is only for older games that werent designed for the pro console... and, where the hell is the next update.!!

but the light and special effects and ambient occlusion is way better in RDR2. It is only the blur that destroys the immersion and experience.

Is this a fake. Can someone explain to me why we should disable to improve this issue?. I read for a week you should disable the boost mode to decrease the issue with blur. ???

It should real for me too, because I read something about the boost mode in another forum.

But they want fix only the hdr problem. This is not causing all the blur. NO
I think that´s it now. They fixing only the hdr isuue because, this issue is on X too. Microsoft paid Rockstar. Big corruption and bribery.

I want my money back. This game is unplayable for me in forest scenes. I must use pills for my pain that I can play for 1 or to hours at a day. That is a peece of sh...t

That takes the cake.  😱

No the odyssey scene is not preprogrammed and it looks way better in the actual version. The foliage quality is really amazing on odyssey and the drawing distance. Tomb Raider looks good too, but thtis is not a open worl title. I will post pictures tommorow from ingame scenes on the pro. But the pic looks more like my pc version of odyssey without hdr. The hdr is one of the best in any games right now. It looks superb.

I´ve send in my last ticket image comparisons of odyssey and rdr2 to show the blurring issue. It´s my TV guys. It is not the game 🤣
