People resurrect just after being killed

Hey everybody

Okay I really love the game, but this made me very dissapointed.
I when to a hill billy village and killed everybody. Total massakre...yes I had a bad day on the office LOL...and then I just went a little further into the forest after I had killed everyone and the whole village was back to normal again when I returned 2 mins after!!! that was very sad to see. My violent meter was of course totally to the left, but it felt very lame that nothing really happend

What are your thoughts on this very unrealistic resurrection...Is it a Bug or??? I was sadly dissapointed

No bug.....   Just a design decision likely to keep the game world alive and interactive.  If NPCs didn't respawn the game might get boring pretty quick depending on how you play.

Note that the inhabitants will not be as friendly when you return though, sometimes refusing you entirely.

Hell, a couple of them weren't that friendly to begin with which is why I antagonized a couple of them and the whole village came after me.  ....had to wipe them all out.  Sounds like the same location. 

I do wish that the respawn would have a longer delay though.  .....perhaps a day or two?

I agree it's nice they respawn, otherwise it wouldn't take long to wipe out everyone and every animal.

I don't know how it effects an entire town, but for shopkeepers that you shoot, they come back with permanent, visual damage such as a hand bandage, wooden leg, etc. Like @Kean_1said, it is a way to keep the game moving forward. How do you know you didn't just murder 3 potential side missions? That would be super unfortunate because you wanted to blow of some steam. Having them act dynamically towards you and physically showcasing your evil deeds is extremely impressive.

True I understand that, but I would like it just to have consequenses instead. However, maybe that is for the future of gaming with more story lines ect. Like combining Red Dead with games as Detroit: become Human - where every choice has different outcome and still being this open splendid world....It will come - question is when -..... However, they could wait with the revivel a bit maybe 2-4 days instead 30 sec, that would have maybe it feel more realistic and meaningful :)
