Wild Horses

Is there any point behind the horses in the wild besides detail? I have roped many and broken but have yet to find any monetary value in them. Apparently they cannot be bonded with either making them worthless. Any explanation, opinions or tips are more then welcome!

That's one of the first things I tried online last night. I was doing the very first solo mission online, and was able to capture a wild one. But wasn't able to figure out what to do with it next. I was able to ride it to the mission's destination. Dismounted, got in a gun fight. Then lost my horse. But "Old Nag" came back to me after whistling for it.

It could be a bug. Or maybe you have to upgrade your horse slots at the stable? I think you start with just 1 horse slot in Online mode. Perhaps if you upgrade that to 2+ horse slots, then you can interact with additional horses?

Ok so I have tinkered a little. I have 2 stables and only one horse. It still wont let me bring the wild animal inside the stable. I have 4 saddles, and it wont let you put a saddle on a horse that isnt in your stable. You cannot ride or lead a wild horse into the stable. You cannot rope a wild horse and then ride your horse into the stable, trying to get it to recognize the wild horse.

I have a feeling you can't capture wild horses and make them your own.  ......only through purchase.  At least for now.

If you guys find out different, let me know because I'm interested.

That was the first thing I did yesterday was break a Kentucky horse, and it promptly ran away when I didn't hitch it up.  No amount of feeding/petting/grooming helped bond it.
