Does anyone know what this is?

I killed the Legendary buffalo, got the white Arabian and got the fish and I noticed two corpses on my map so I went to investigate and there were two people frozen and cuddling for warmth holding a note, this very well could be just a picture of home or a actual map. (Its labeled "Panoramic Map") I'm just curious.

If you look at the carving/drawing on the rocks and put Mt. Shann in center, then the closest star would be Strawberry.  the 2 to the right of that look to be Armadillo and Tumbleweed maybe.  the left of Strawberry i think would be  St. Denis, Van Horn, then Annesburg. and the star i think would mark would the Sisika Penitentiary.  Not sure what that all means though

yes it is directly tied to the ufo's. i dont remember where exactly u need to go but when get to spot that the map appears to drawn from at a certain time( i think like 2am) u will see multible ufo's coming down from the sky and what looks like scanning for some thing. there is a utube vid on it

Does that also link to the painting that looks like a compass on the mountain above Strawberry?  Where were these people?

There are so many things in this game that I haven't seen. (and I'm on my 3rd play-through!)
