Skrylaxx
Quote According to the report Forza 7, Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2 will all be on display -- all first-party Microsoft games will run at native 4K on the Scorpio -- along with Call of Duty (presumably the newest one), FIFA, Madden, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Maybe we'll get a little more than we did in the teaser? After reading this I am not sure how I feel. I mean 4K is the nect BIG deal when it comes to TV, movies, and gaming but is it still too soon? I don't really know anyone who has a 4K TV or even a 4K camera. Maybe it depends on your income or where you live. *shrugs* I don't mind Xbox using RDR2 to show case it though. I will likely ending getting a 4K TV just for this game LOL Edited April 6, 2017 by lonestar added Scorpio to title
SNIP3XL
If it means we get some information soon then I am all for it! I really have my doubts about Scorpio though, Microsoft dropped the ball HARD with Xbox One and now it may be too late to save this generation for them. They need some good exclusives and Sony already has that deal with Rockstar Games for RDR2 - source. In fact, given that, this entire thing could be made up. Time will tell, but like I said if it means we get ANY NEW OFFICIAL INFO that would be great PS: 4K TVs are cheap where I live, I think 4K will take off if Scorpio can do it and the developers make the games. Hazed0NE
Yeah 4K is cheap now and it makes sense to have gaming push them into homes. Remember how long it took HD to become the standard? Heck I still know of some people who still have them bulky HD TVs from like 2004. LOL
Lonestar
Well, the specs for Xbox Scorpio are now official and no games were discussed at all - https://www.rdr2.org/news/dont-expect-red-dead-redemption-2-at-scorpio-event/ I guess the next stop for this rumor is E3, although as the article says, we're unlikely to get anything RDR2 related there.
SNIP3XL
Scorpio looks freaking amazing. Still not as powerful as the most powerful (and expensive) PCs available right now, but damn. Serious performance.

Well I thought they were a lot more.. I need to get out the house more I guess LOL I seen it wasn't said officially either so we don't know what is going on with it yet in terms of it being 4K or not. MajorPain
RDR2 will come in 4K. Rockstar will release it way down the track as a re-master and make a few more $$$$$.
UKSammy84
I'd really be interested in knowing how much extra work it is for developers to create 4K content. For example, I imagine the number of pixels required for a car in 1080p might be 100 (example only), then in 4K does that go up to 400? Is their work increased four fold?
